  1. It makes sense that they wouldn’t post any teasers until after the Nimrod 25th Anniversary is over. Any 1972 news would overshadow the excitement for Nimrod and I think that’s something they really want people to be excited for. Green Day finally seems to be “looking back” for the first time and I’m here for it 👍

  2. Pretty sure 1972 will be another rock opera.. They're taking their time with this project and it sounds promising. It'll be worth every second we've waited for. Happy holidays guys

  5. If that happens and they pull it off, it’s going to be the best surprise.

  6. I guess it’s the people that usually buy from this brand and like Green Day. It’s expensive shit, but that’s kinda normal for a fancy fashion brand. I don’t know nothing about fashion, but seems like this is not some random name but a quite established house selling a lot and doing some interesting stuff: https://www.voguebusiness.com/companies/subcultures-and-cinema-why-brain-dead-isnt-just-about-the-clothes Whether it’s ethical or not to sell a t-shirt for 50$ I can’t say. If enough profit goes to the creatives that designed it, and the production line has some good ethical standards in terms of worker rights, material sourcing, etc. that’s unfortunately a reasonable and normal price. What is for sure unethical is all the 5$ clothing which is sold at that price thanks to labour and environmental exploitation. And what is unethical is people getting paid shit wages so that they can only afford shit clothing. But it’s all good, let’s enjoy capitalism.

  10. They could be making a film that tells the story of the album, and doing it at the same time to avoid what happened with Idiot.

  13. Why are they idiots for not releasing an album that clearly wouldn't have been ready. You can be critical of the fact that they've been teasing for too long, I'd agree with that but telling them to release an album just to coincide with some random anniversary is just a bad idea that results in products being rushed and incomplete

  16. One of these days Gdfan is gonna post something 'oh man I feel it in my bones, an announcement is coming soon!' and we'll all go 'haha yeah right' and then 5 hours later Green Day will drop a trailer for 1972 or a single or both and then we'll all look like asses.
