Green Day just played at a Backyard Concert for Teen Cancer America e Ucla Health. Here's the amazing line up: Video: https://www.instagram.com/p/CkVDSWIOwk3/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= The concert took place in Pacific Palisades and raise awareness and vital funding that has elevated the UCLA Health Autism Program, launched an impactful teen and young adult cancer program at UCLA, and spearheaded the establishment of Teen Cancer America (TCA).

I can’t imagine how much money these people had to donate to get to see all these acts in someone’s backyard. 🤑🤑🤑 Remember when Billie said they wanted to play in someone’s backyard a few years back? Turns out you need to be ultra rich. It’s for a teen cancer charity so I’m not going to rip on it too hard but it sure is a different life for the 1%. And Green Day plays very different backyards these days. But I hope they raised lots of money. Kevin posted photos of himself with Pete Townsend and Roger Daltrey. I wonder if Billie got to ask Roger if he remembers meeting him naked in a steam room? 😂

Wait....Stop, Drop and Roll is kind of the prequel. So would the new one be BETWEEN Stop, Drop and Dos? Or before Stop, Drop? What would the Tubbies have sounded like if they existed before they existed? My first thought it early Beatles, the poppier stuff. I wouldn't mind at all if 1972 had a Tubbies song AND a Network song, both tied together in a narrative that builds on the legends of all three bands. Fighting St. Jimmy with a sword atop a flaming Trans am that flickers in and out of reality to become the Broken Dreams Mobile. Last night I dreamed that Rudy's reopened as a fish-only restaurant in New York City and Green Day were driving out of the new place on a motorbike with huge bags of dead fish. You'd think they'd hire a decent graphic designer if they could afford a place in the middle of Manhattan, but the promo was all terribly done and I was too busy cringing at it to care that Green Day were on a motorbike in front of me.

It’s greyer at the roots so sweeping it back will show more. It seems like he’s getting more comfortable going natural at Green Day shows so maybe he’ll stop dyeing it (unless it’s just for fun)? Better to stop now than all at once later when it’s totally white.

Everytime you say "pretty sure" GD delays a month the release of the album.

I had a dream last night that the Hella Mega tour continued next year and that I travelled to Glasgow and then to Hull the following night to see the tour. I’m not sure why these cities were in my dream as I haven’t been to either, but it was nice to be reminded of how much I enjoyed my HM gig (or at least I enjoyed everything but Amyl and the Sniffers and getting Covid from the gig).
