I think we all like Billie looking trim (quick check of which thread this is) but he’s possibly been under weight quite a lot of his life which isn’t healthy. He’s 50 now, never going to be that young skinny again I’m afraid, it’s not in his genes. Just love him as he is and be glad he’s well.

August could be filled with all the behind the scenes stuff to prepare for promotion and marketing — the business meetings, decisions on artwork and packaging, firming up dates, magazine interviews for later release, photoshoots etc. Then everything could be ready to go after October when the shows end

And representing in a Pinhead Gunpowder shirt. I’d freak if I saw anyone in public wearing one of those shirts thinking I found a fan friend and then to realize OMG it’s Jason?!

But I don't think they expected to be video recorded by Billie and put on the Internet in a way that clearly identifies them as resellers😁

So I found out one of the students my bf teaches was at Green Day's lolla set!!! This is also the same student who was at the same Ultra q show as me! He's got good tastes 👍

Good Billie. He knows who's genuine and who's not, yet still gives a moment of his time even while he's simultaneously calling them out. Even so, he was still very nice. I loved the "Okay, beat it!" at the end!

Some of my husband’s videos are included in that compilation, glad to see he was credited. I stuck him on video duty (as he was upstairs) with strict instructions that if he filmed anything to make sure it was the COMPLETE song. He had a great view but filmed loads of partial songs and I could weep at what he missed😭 Stuck with me … 53 seconds! Letterbomb … 38 seconds!! Chump … 35 seconds!!! JAR … 24 seconds!!!! All I can say is, it’s a good job I love him.

When you notice your neighbor wearing a shirt that says "Oakland Original" and get excited, but then see that it has a bunch images of things on it that were invented there. Still cool, though.

It was a photoshoot and a music video, but the video was scrapped and we never saw it.

But for all we know, they could be using this month break to add some finishing touches to it

Watched this again last night. Great show. Funny thing I noticed was Billie’s expression as soon as JOS ended and he turned away from the crowd. It was this huge wide eyed exhale of relief 😮‍💨

I like how he didn’t bother about signing the funko’s and knowing that they would flip the price on ebay a whole lot more than possibly the vinyls, good billie! I love his sarcasm

That was a lot of fun. I loved watching it with you all and my bf, who really enjoyed the set. He was smiling and said that green day really do put on a great show 🙂

Yeah but then there’s the most interesting level somewhere between that and us - I’ve met a person who was deep down the rabbit hole enough to like Warning, know the trilogy alarmingly well and know about Lenny, but didn’t know about any of the side projects other than Billie’s solo stuff (I told them), FOAM (probably) or iHeart (I didn’t tell). It’s interesting to me to see what gets the attention of people who are into the band quite a lot but not completely crazy like us
