In the last few weeks, when I'm browsing through comments of articles/photos about Green Day concerts on German Facebook or Twitter, I see many people writing "Haha, Billie looks more and more like Bastian Pastewka." Pastewka is a German comedian (a very good one and also a very nice guy IMO), but I really don't know if I see a resemblance here. Thoughts? KFAD in itself is a fantastic little song.. I really just don't need it to be drawn out to almost be as long as JOS... but without every single second of the awesomeness that goes with it.

I almost completely forget that GR is a Nimrod song too.. to me now that's just that thing they do at the end of a show. It's not even played with the same meaning it was intended to have, and honestly I don't think I'd miss it if they stopped playing it live haha.

I just wish I went to more shows on this tour. Have only been to one this round but I just can’t get over how fun it was!

Hey, yes you got to some shows but it’s still reasonable to be disappointed that all your careful planning fell apart. Is it the worst thing in the world, no and others are suffering worse but it doesn’t make you bad for feeling how you do. I saw GD in London for RevRad and for first time ever was going to see them twice, shortly after in Glasgow but Glasgow was cancelled and Glasgow was gutted. I get how you feel.

Billie is singing 99% of the harmonies since American Idiot, but for me it‘s fine, they sound really good

Man it's really interesting to think of what FOAMs legacy is going to be when it's all said and done.

It's funny you mentioned harmonies because I was just thinking not only would I like to hear more lead vocals from them, but why aren't they even in harmonies anymore? It always seems to just be Billie harmonizing with Billie. We need more Mike and Tre vocals everywhere.

I want to be optimistic too, but please keep your expectations realistic. I honestly think Green Day want to be in a different place now to what they were back then, and I think them playing their older songs (Fuck I feel old saying that) may just be a way of teasing us with new footage, but covering up the audio with something else. You say nobody listens to it anymore, but I fucking love that album. I even have it in my 50's and 60's music playlist that I've been using while I play Fallout 😂 I'd love this. Even RevRad had some of that and that is one of the huge reasons why it's my 3rd favourite album behind AI and 21cb.

Don't know where else to post this. The Final Jeopardy category a few days ago was '1972'. I don't remember the clue, but wanna say it had something to do with Watergate. Anyway the answer ended up being Richard Nixon, which brought me to the opening line of 21CB. And sometime last week there was a clue wherein the correct response was Who is Holden Caulfield? I am old and I love Jeopardy!.
