I watched this video this morning and I just wanted to post it because it made me so happy. Seeing a Green Day fan capable of playing guitar, just have the best night of his life. Playing on stage in front of thousands of people, jamming with Green Day, and seeing Billie Joe impressed that he actually nailed the solo. The whole thing just made me warm and fuzzy and makes me appreciate how much this band means to so many people.

At first I was afraid it was going to be a terrible story, judging from the title, but that sounds just like the stories we know so I would say yeah, very believable. Go ahead and meet your hero, as long as its Billie Joe 🥰

I just wish I went to more shows on this tour. Have only been to one this round but I just can’t get over how fun it was!

First one looks like Tré just said something very Tré-ish or told a joke or whatever. He never fails to make Billie and Mike, especially Billie, crack up and it's just so sweet and adorable.

Hey, yes you got to some shows but it’s still reasonable to be disappointed that all your careful planning fell apart. Is it the worst thing in the world, no and others are suffering worse but it doesn’t make you bad for feeling how you do. I saw GD in London for RevRad and for first time ever was going to see them twice, shortly after in Glasgow but Glasgow was cancelled and Glasgow was gutted. I get how you feel.

it was the same at rock am ring festival, most people know green day for songs like basket case, bobd, wmuwse (the classics you know) and everyone i talked to was blown away of their show and energy, yes the setlist is just the hits, as a "diehard" greenday fan i prefer other songs, but for the masses its perfect many people forgot about GD, with their current show and set they remind everyone what they are capable of, now they just need to release a very good album in the next months, then people will be fully aware of GD in 2022/23 and not like the past 10 years of saying "green day? they are still around?" i may also add that all the other bands at rock am ring festival did great shows, most of them had a lot of fun and a lot of energy, but still GD are always one step better than any other band i see live, its amazing!

i went to rock am ring festival in germany, got covid (but it was worth it, and i am negative now again), and i will see them again in paris for the hellamega show :)

Do you know which song? I know, and I agree works for most of them.. but I still find it very strange that they don't all really harmonize on albums anymore, like at all. What's FOAM? Never heard of it.

Man it's really interesting to think of what FOAMs legacy is going to be when it's all said and done.

It's funny you mentioned harmonies because I was just thinking not only would I like to hear more lead vocals from them, but why aren't they even in harmonies anymore? It always seems to just be Billie harmonizing with Billie. We need more Mike and Tre vocals everywhere.
