I still think it’s Tre, he often wears striped pants and there is an earlier post of Kevin’s of someone with those pants and patterned Van type shoes Tre often wears. Finally look at his right arm.

My boyfriend listens to some Green Day but he really likes Threat level Midnight. He references it all the time though I keep telling him it's The Network, sworn enemies of Green Day.

If they're both fans of Amy Winehouse, maybe that's how? It was written for her, after all. My friends are fans but they were fans in the early 2000s so they don't really listen to them. One of my friends said though that he thinks it's really cool how Green Day allows fans up on stage and if they're playing guitar Billie lets them keep it.

Yes. I don't know how many times I've said that on here, but needs to be said directly to Green Day. I've always wanted a serious Tre song. A hard rock instrumentation with really emotionally troubled lyrics. And Mike? He's like Van Gough from The Network, but smooth instead of deformed.

I think in both cases, they just happened to hear it from a friend who had it on a playlist or something. I mean to be fair, when I say they aren't Green Day fans, I just meant they don't follow them or actively choose to listen to them. In both cases, they did like certain Green Day songs, but those were usually the hits that are played non-stop

We already have Woodstock 94 with this cover, they would need to choose another one

This! You're actually a really good person because you're principled enough not to go but a lot of governments around the world have just given up and anyone can go anywhere with Covid and infect (even kill) anyone they like. People assume that people who die from covid are all so sick they're about to die anyway and it just isn't true. Millions of people all over the world have immune systems that don't work properly and are nowhere near about to die anyway but a lot of people just don't care. Their enjoyment is more important than not giving covid to an immune surpressed person (we should just hide away at home). I completely understand your frustration and sadness about what's happened and what you can see happening with other fans on the tour but like I said, you're a really good person for having a conscience and not taking covid to the show That doesn't make it any easier for you. I'm so sad for you this happened

And this is why I can't go to the tour because my immune system doesn't work properly and people like the guy who said that just don't care who they give it to 😡 I almost caved and got a seat for the Huddersfield show but it's just not worth the risk. My first three shows were completely cancelled and I was supposed to be in Stockholm last night. I'm upset but it's just not worth me getting Covid

Green Day changes it up: People complain they've changed too much. Green Day gives us RevRad: People complain they sound too much like Green Day. I personally hope the new album is an evolution of their sound, but I am not expecting it to be. As long as it sounds good from a production standpoint, has some rockin' tunes, badass guitar and doesn't have BJ trying to imitate Prince in cringy midlife crisis songs about partying and pretending to be a teenager, then I think I am going to be absolutely fine with whatever they put out. I've given up on them trying to take on the world now. I am grateful to have my 3 favourite albums of all time from them and even if I don't ever get anything else like those 3 albums, all I want is for them to want to do what they do and continue to do it well.

I hope we could have some news soon here. We're all excited to listen to Green Day's cover for Allison. Just a reminder to not let this amazing post die 😉

I think it's more marketed towards fans of Green Day, Fall Out Boy and/or Weezer. If you're a fan of Fall Out Boy or Weezer and see that they're doing greatest hits, odds are you'll assume that GD are also doing greatest hits. I think the intention is if someone goes to the tour who's only really a fan of 1 or 2 of the bands, they'll see the hits of the other bands they're not familiar with and maybe want to hear more from them
