@Gdfan2019 has me fully believing the album cover is just going to be the UNO cover. It's burned into my brain now, I can't think of any other design. Here's to hoping they duplicate everything else from the Trilogy, and Billie doesn't freak out. If it weren't for iHeart, the Trilogy Craze would have swept the world and instead of RevRad and FOAM, we would have gotten Cinco and Seis and right now we'd be waiting on Seite or 19Seite2. Somewhere out there in the universe, I hope that is happening.

But to be fair, with all these synced and choreographed lighshows, visuals and pyros and stuff, it‘s much more difficult to play different songs at every show

Comments like these don't help your case. I came here to post another clip today, but then I read this. Listen, I am not beholden to you. Please be respectful and patient. We're all fans here. I got hit by a flood in my basement recently and my DAW (with most of my recording equipment was put into storage). I planned on getting that stuff out over the holiday weekend to work on this. In the meantime, I felt like taking phone clips would be appropriate for the fans to hear, as I also didn't want to release a crappy phone clip of the entire song on the internet, but rather rip it properly. Plus, the vinyl skips like crazy. It's not a clean playback. I was hoping I could potentially do some editing to clean it up a bit. Therefore there's only certain portions of the song that I can take clips of that are clean and listenable, and that's what I planned on doing in the meantime. I posted Redundant as soon as I could. And I will do the same with Alison. If you don't like that then I suggest you forget this thread and move on with your life. I don’t know if its ok to post this, but f**k it… I got my hands on the unreleased outtake Alison (Elvis Costello Cover) from the Nimrod Sessions. It is from a bootleg 7inch record, which unfortunately skips a bit. But it is definitely GD, as you can tell. Crazy to hear after 25 years. If it is ok w GDC I will rip the full song. I also will be posting an unreleased alternate unmastered remix of Redundant from 1998. No.. its not the Richard Dodd wide mix. I’m calling it the “Warning mix” since it is less distorted and more stripped down like Warning - the album. There is no second guitar, and the mix has more presence on the acoustic guitar, tambourine, and overdubs. It sounds less chunky and something that’d fit in more so on Warning rather than Nimrod. I imagine it was an early mix before it was finished - but why it is labeled as 1998 makes me curious as to why it was mixed like this after the album release…. More to come. Reading an old NME interview with Elvis Costello from 1995 and he describes something that unfortunately makes me think of Green Day as they are on this tour. He starts by referring to artists he knows that put on a different show every night and are always trying new things with their shows (like EC himself still does): ”(They) are people I’m very encouraged by, they still make a huge effort. Dreamt about Billie in cartoon form, where one of the Looney Tunes characters (couldn't see which one clearly, might have been Wile E. Coyote) had him flung over his shoulder while figure skating. Then it switched back to live form, and was Billie making a drink for someone, but it turned out to be soup. Off to dream dictionary.

Not only is it covering those hips and bellie, but at one point his shirt was unbuttoned at the top and you can see the top of the tank neck too, so it even covers the glimpses of those chest tattoos. That thing has to go, time for fangirls to strike 🥺

I guess our most realistic way of getting some practical info in the coming weeks is if some fans run into the guys socially in the coming weeks in the various European cities, and if the guys end up dropping some nuggets of info into the conversation… I’ve never met the guys but i kinda think i’d feel weird about asking them about the new album if i happened to meet them at a bar or something. i’d like to think i’d be all cool and just leave them alone but i’d have no doubts i’d regret it hugely if i didn’t approach them at the same time……. I really thought Bang Bang was going to be a setlist mainstay when it was reworked as a guitar free St Jimmy like performance during the 2019 promotion cycle with Kevin filling in. It was such a highlight of those shows I was surprised to see it missing from Hella Mega. Hopefully it just missed the greatest hits cut and will return to the regular set on the next tour. It was one of my favorites of 2019 and one of the best things to come out of RevRad.

I had this weird ass dream a couple nights ago. Billie was shooting some new TV show with Ed Sheeran and James Acaster and I was in the audience as it was being recorded. I was so excited that I was in the same room as three of my fave people, and I took my phone out to try and take a pic of them but people kept walking in the way of my camera so I didn't get a good shot 😭 And then the next day I met Billie as he was getting out of a car in the street, we had a conversation but I can't remember what it was 😭

Best way to hear the differences are to listen to it w headphones back to back w the album or single version. Whole song is an unmastered mix, missing 2nd distorted guitar, increased acoustic guitar, solo more present, no overdub distorted guitars in chorus's, outro/fade out is different (doesn't have the guitar vibrato last note, fades out with organ, and lacks the drumstick/bass hit in few seconds)
