I love the claps! They were great on Love is for Losers and I liked them on Father of All as well. A screenshot of Tre clapping is one of the only things I've seen from this promo and I was glad to see it5 points

Maybe the do it like before American Idiot. I think they played a few shows before the album release just with the track American Idiot as the opening track. My Chemical Romance does the same right now with Foundations of Decay2 points

What even makes you think that from what we’ve seen? AI era studio, their best producer of their best albums, months of work, three studios in two continents, heavy distorted guitar samples… what about any of that is in any way reminiscent of the FOAM era? Is there anything they could tease about that would make you happy?2 points

I don't think any band with as much management over them and money at stake would decide to release an album of B sides from their badly selling and almost universally hated (..I liked it..) previous record. makes absolutely no sense and they certainly wouldn't bring in Cavallo to produce that.2 points

Here is Redundant 2-9-1998 Future Disc Systems Remix Future Disc Systems is the team who mastered Nimrod. I imagine they were involved in the single release in 1998 perhaps as an early mix, or rejected mix. Sounds like something that'd be on Warning rather than Nimrod to me. I don't think the handclaps were ever Butch Walker but more a carry over from The Longshot. Sure I've seen a statistic somewhere for the number of handclaps either in one of the songs or the album I must be one of the few people that likes them1 point

Best way to hear the differences are to listen to it w headphones back to back w the album or single version. Whole song is an unmastered mix, missing 2nd distorted guitar, increased acoustic guitar, solo more present, no overdub distorted guitars in chorus's, outro/fade out is different (doesn't have the guitar vibrato last note, fades out with organ, and lacks the drumstick/bass hit in few seconds)1 point
