I respect his choice to wear or to do whatever makes him feel good about himself, but the possibility that he might feel unattractive makes me sad :((3 points

Definitely seem to be playing a lot, lot more festivals (which is kinda shitty for us but great if it means more people are recognising how great they are. Personally I'd say it's possibly Crush but what do I know?)3 points

Billie Joe Armstrong Reacts to Seeing Dwight + Andy Cover Green Day on āThe Officeā https://loudwire.com/billie-joe-armstrong-reaction-dwight-andy-cover-green-day-the-office/ 40 Graduation Songs to Add to Your Playlist, from BeyoncĆ© to Green Day 9. ā(Good Riddance) Time of Your Lifeā by Green Day Standout lyrics: It's something unpredictable / But in the end, it's right / I hope you had the time of your life Fun fact: This song was inspired by Billie Joe Armstrongās girlfriend after she moved away. But because of its nostalgic lyrics, the track became a staple at high school proms and graduations. https://www.purewow.com/entertainment/graduation-songs1 point

I thought it was probably a combination of the cancelled show and whoever made the decision not to tell the band about the acrobat being killed. I always thought, even if they had known and organisers and the police had decided they had to keep the festival going, at least they could have done things differently but they just carried on in ignorance which didnāt look great, could have been the final straw, who knows. Interesting article though, thanks for sharing @That Dude.1 point

I never thought it was planned out because Pat left in the middle of a major arena tour. That just doesnāt happen unless thereās some big unexpected shakeups and we know on that tour there were at least two (Glasgow and Madrid) and possibly others we donāt know about. The switch happened shortly after. I agree it was very surprising to read that they even considered managing themselves again but they must have felt the mishandling was so bad that they could have looked after themselves better. In the moment of stress Iām sure they thought that and Iām glad the lawyer talked them out of it. Itās never a good idea, even if they think theyāve learned a few things and have more resources since 1996. They do seem to have a desire to be as independent as possible it seems, they know the industry is so full of bloodsuckers a bad choice can really cost you and by now they do know a lot about the business themselves. But stick to the music and let the other professionals do their jobs.1 point

That's a very interesting article. I'm surprised they've sacked PM and only then started looking into other options. That makes it look like a less well planned action than it seemed previously. I'm also surprised they've considered self-managing after they've already tried that once and realized it didn't work out. It would require a lot of investment to create an in-house management team - hiring more lawyers, accountants, managers etc... And then they've settled for a company that got them a) sponsorships and licensing deals, b) a never ending festival run (low costs on their side) c) a package tour. Recouping losses? I'd really want to know how they were/are doing economically.1 point
