  1. I still think it is. They used the hashtag #RevRad on the first post in the studio early 2016. It was an abbreviation but still the title

  2. I'm pretty sure it will be the title.

  3. Shit the show is the day after my 30th birthday and I haven’t seen the boys since 2017… I might end up going… Edit: bought ‘em! Really can’t imagine a better way to celebrate my birthday.

  4. I GOT EM!!!!! OMG I can't believe it. I forgot how nerve wracking it is buying Green Day tickets. Just a heads up it is a bit misleading because it says tickets for the day are $59 but that's just a grounds pass. You have to buy those first and then there's a $79 ticket you need to see Green Day. You have to buy both. Then with Ticketmaster fees and all it's more like $150 but I got em!

  5. Maybe the track list goes like: 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1971, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1978 but 1972 is the only year that‘s missing 🤔 oh and 1971 is the ballad, because track 7 is always the ballad

  6. Billie bought a bit hat 😂😂 https://instagram.com/stories/billiejoearmstrong/2805349671562137038?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&utm_medium=copy_link That is one serious mask he’s wearing! Glad to see he’s protecting himself.

  7. I've been a Green Day fan over 20 years. My dad bought me my first cassette tape of Dookie when I was 13. That's when I fell in love with Green Day. I played it over and over until the audio quality degraded lol! Their music got me through my teenage years of depression and bad breakups. The first real punk band that got me started on playing guitar and writing my own songs. Their music took me through my 20's when I was still finding myself and who I wanted to be. Then I found the one and got married. Sadly, 3 years ago I lost my dad and 4 months later my mother. It was horrible. My husband has been my rock through it all. (My dad had copd and heart failure and my mom's breast cancer came back. ) Now at 38 years old I am reaching back to my youth, listening to all my old. Green Day albums again. Green Day seems to be the only music that can take me back to a time when everyone was healthy and the only worries I had weren't such a big deal. It is my therapy. No matter what happens in life, I know I will always have their music to listen to to get me through the good times and the bad. So I wanted to say a big thank you to the band that will always have my heart! Thank You Green Day!!! I would love to hear other peoples stories as well on how Green Day made an impact on their lives.

  9. So Billie always dyes his hair blonde for recordings but it's not blonde right now 🙁 what does this mean?!?

  10. I agree. Let's keep it simple

  14. Well I went ahead and did it anyway. Dammit. The things I do for this band. LOL 💚

  15. So , i am intrigued to see what the British influence turns out to be .

  16. If they use the same tag in every song teaser and studio picture, it’s the album title
    3 points
  17. I've always seen Uno Dos and Tre to be their self-titled albums, I doubt they'd do that again. That said I'm not 100% convinced on 1972 being the title either although so much use of that in teasers would be a bit out of place if it wasn't at the very least a song title

  19. For the Trilogy, Billie announced that February they were in the studio, and revealed ¡UNO!, ¡DOS!, ¡TRÉ! in April

  20. I love his hair like that I’m pretty sure that pic is from 2014 during the Soundwave Festival in Australia

  21. Oh, I love the third from last one, not seen that before! ❤️❤️❤️

  22. That he doesn’t always dye his hair blonde for recordings? 🤔 I was wondering this too. British power pop? Brit punk? Beatles? Anything at all? There has to be some reason they wanted to soak up the London atmosphere and record there

  24. Instead of insulting/generalizing people who follow various forms of motorsports, just do a quick google search yourself next time. You'll have fun! It's unreal seeing these cars go that fast in person, so I highly recommend going for the day - if it works in your schedule.

  25. Yes. I guess that gives people the option of not seeing the concert if they're there for F1 (no concert only option unfortunately it's just an add on) At least at that price you know you're seeing a full concert

  27. All albums from Warning (without the trilogy) have a song called like the album, so should we also expect a song called 1972?🧐🧐🧐🧐

  28. Firstly I'm sorry for your loss and losing both parents in the space of 4 months. That must be really tough and I'm glad you've been able to find some relief by listening to GD. I'm a very similar age to you so my story starts off very similar. I'll try and keep my story short as I've said it here before, but I too was 13 too when I first discovered GD. It was my best friend who introduced me to the band. I loved Dookie but it wasn't until Insomniac was released when I really turned into a die-hard fan. I fuckin loved that album then and it's still my favourite now. GD made a profound impact to my life growing up in those formative years, from the friendships I made at school (and remain friends with to this day), to meeting my then girlfriend now wife due to our mutual interest (infact we met on the old Green Day chat room hosted on greenday.net in the late 90s) and even in my early adult years getting into trading bootlegs with people around the world, then GDLO and GDT, some of those members on this very forum. I don't have time to trade these days, and my music tastes have evolved, I still like punk and go back to it from time-to-time but these days I'm happier just listening to podcasts or whatevers on the radio - which old Doggins would find quite pathetic to be honest. But, I'll always have a soft-spot for the band, and an overwhelming amount of gratitude for everything they've brought into my life - no matter how wacky their releases are (ahem, FOAMF) To think my kids wouldn't exist if it weren't for this band, is kinda crazy.

  29. What if 1972 isn't the album name? I feel like they wouldn't give it away that quickly.

  37. I hope we get B-sides and covers with this too! Billie leaked that Beach Boys I Get Around cover although The Beach Boys are obviously not British. Tré was pictured at Abbey Road Studios so what if they recorded a Beatles cover there?!?!?

  38. Yeah cast your mind back a while BJ mentioned he was listening to a bit of Britpop , so it will be interesting to see if that turns out to be relevant or not .

  39. And again, they did the same thing with #RevRad, which ended up being Revolution Radio, both the album title and title song

  40. I hope by full show that means they play as long as they did on the RevRad tour!!!🥰😁🙌

  41. Definitely the bass, Mike has said in interviews that he has a bass he uses for recordings called "the weapon". I think he said it in an interview with bass player magazine during the trilogy era. I think the trilogy actually has some of his best bass tones so I was excited to see his post 🙂

  42. Yes especially if they are still in the studio. You’re a minimum of six months from any release

  43. It’s a pain that sharing pics has become so difficult. On here, from IG etc, am sure it could be easier.

  44. Yeah I guess it would be harder to tell on a phone. I'm pretty much always using a laptop when I'm on GDC and I like to zoom in all the way on photos to check the resolution. I'm just picky that way. 😅

  45. Could it be that it's because some of them have already been uploaded to apps like Instagram? I'm not that knowledgeable about that kind of thing but I know the quality does goes down on Instagram. Not sure about other apps. It's hard for me to tell because I'm on my phone and they all look relatively OK on a small handset. Some more photos
