Looks like they got special sparkly guitars made with the "72" plate on the back. Last time they did something similar they had RevRad edition guitars made as Christmas gifts for the band and crew after that tour. I wonder if this years gifts were 72 edition guitars. If that's so then we're definitely talking a major size project and not just six songs. Why get guitars made for an EP?

It might have said already, but I really love that the one thing he wants to do for his birthday is play music. I mean, the man genuinely just lives and breathes for playing music.

I hope that whenever the thing is released they then follow up the European tour with a proper US arena tour for the new material.

These little snippets ARE the singles. We've now heard the entire album, and I love it! It's short. So short that I can listen to it multiple times while checking the mailbox. Perfect for today's fast-paced world that has no time for Billie's lyrical mumbo jumbo.

I hope they are able to do a small club tour to warm up like they did for Rev Rad. Ideally I’d love to see the creative process unfold like it did for the Trilogy but that’s a big wish. Hopefully something like the small club tour before American Idiot or Rev Rad would be something that might happen to prepare for a proper arena tour for the new material… after the Hella Mega Hits tour… hopefully they’re earning new fans that will explore the vast back catalog so they can be an insane new group of fans to add to the Green Day community. Usually once a fan discovers the magic of Green Day it’s all over for them. So much to discover and so much to look forward to.

Been screaming this from the rooftops since it was announced. As a Marylander this lineup brings me so much joy. As someone who was too young to see My Chem on my own but got into them deep during their peak I never thought I’d see my two faves (Green Day and them) on the same billing. Not to mention many of the other great acts. Presale is Friday at 10am Est. Think you have to sign up for it on firefly’s website.

I drink tap water. I only buy water if that's the only option, but I'm fortunate enough to live in a region where the tap water is high quality. Other people don't really have a choice and that's really unfortunate. To bring the conversation back to Billie, I think it's great that he's found something he enjoys like that. Better than Fiji Water, which comes in plastic. Maybe at shows there will be a cooler full of Liquid Death for him now instead of Fiji.

True, but there can be health issues from chemicals leaching from the plastic too, ironic for something people think is good for them! I think there has always been an odd thing about buying water, years ago Perrier was the “posh” water to drink, before they got caught out putting nasties in it. You need to check the ingredients!
