Just an out of the box thought but I wonder if his lawyers told him to take the post down because by promising to pay their bail he was entering into some kind of verbal contract with criminals that could unintentionally be conspiracy (like if insurance fraud was alleged or something). So to avoid getting bound to a verbal agreement he had to take it down.

People can be so rude and dumb. This isn’t surprising. Ignorant and can’t think of anything better to do? They should use their energy on something more worthwhile. Yes for sure, he’s playing his best cards as this is gaining some media traction. I doubt it’s going to make the thief return the car, but he’s got a way of gaining favor with the peasantry (that’s a small victory)

I just think it was endearing memes out of the face he made at the end of the stream. It's just funny. No one is taking the loss of his car lightly.
