That’s referring to him turning 50 - the interview happened before any 1972 plans happened, but he may release it close to his birthday now that it’s an album that seems to be celebrating their origins

Here's a new angle. The town bishop mentioned in American Idiot, We need to revisit and see if he ever learned about St. Jimmy. What even is a town bishop, anyway? Maybe something bad happened to him (or her) in 1972 and influenced his bad behavior in 2004. Either way, the story needs a resolution or continuation. Also, The Network still have time travel abilities, at least to my knowledge. They could pop up on album 14, maybe dragging some of the Tubbies with them.

I still think Billie Joe's style during Revolution Radio era was very questionable. Like seriously. Those shirts didn't look good at all on him, especially the one which was black shirt filled with white circles. I haven't seen any discussion about it. Does anyone actually think that those shirts during that era were good?

I was on the prowl for any Album 14 tidbits and came across this beauty.

Hopefully something exciting will happen soon. It seems like this Miami appearance would have been exciting/not prerecorded/not done remotely. Still feeling disappointed. I was so looking forward to whatever it was going to be. Better to be boring than dangerous at this point in time. Praying the pandemic is over soon and we all get through this safely. Much rather Billie Joe and the band (and fans) are safe and boring right now. There better be some massive parties and shows when this is all over. If boring is the new normal even after the pandemic I’m giving up. The best part about being a Green Day fan is the band being excited, new music, surprises, the side projects and the crazy fandom. Hopefully he’ll share something exciting very soon. So far the most exciting thing has been a deleted clip of a new cover and that got us going. I can’t wait until he drops some sort of bomb (and doesn’t delete it).

I wish he’d played the show because this NYE was so boring. But I’m glad he’s staying safe that’s more important. His NYE looked really boring based on his Instagram stories. I love when he gets so bored he turns around completely and there’s a crazy amount of output and random weird stuff like crashing parties or attending events or starting new bands or performing randomly for fun. I miss the tours and stories and music releases. I hope he does something interesting soon. I am disappointed he couldn’t play the Miami New Years Eve party but safety so much more important.

Nothing better than a Green Day or Billie Joe cover. But what I want is a legit Billie Joe Armstrong album of original stuff. Sure, it would sound like Green Day, but it could be a great record. A brave record. Sometimes Billie hides things from the band while recording. This could be him letting loose, being in full creative control.

God, finally I hope! Sorry, I meant in that the Upside Downers do covers, maybe they are adding this one, or starting to do an album of Beach Boys songs or something.

As disappointing as this is, I'm super glad Billie made the decision to keep himself and his loved ones safe by not going. Sounds like he dodged a bullet there on that exposure what with all these breakthrough cases happening. Seriously, FUCK YOU, COVID! Maybe he'll release a cover or informal song or something else a bit later for fun just to do something. He's such a busybody anyway.
