Asking the important questions: if Green Day existed in the Pokémon world, would the drunk bunny be a Scorbunny, Bunnelby or Buneary? I'm going with Bunnelby. Scorbunny is a possibility, but Buneary is too cutesy. Bunnelby looks like a Pokémon you might find unconscious on the pavement after it snuck into a pub.

Is this GD’s Taylor Swift era, naming an album after their birth year? 😏 They should go the Adele route and name it 50.

I like to think they proposed the Upside Downers again after the reel that I posted on Green Day Ita that Billie reposted. That reel featured the vinyl, some people after watching it asked us where to buy it and told them to ask to 1234 Go Records, and the day after boom, there's a post! I felt like an Influencer, GD give me my part, in cash please ahah kidding

In my opinion the Beach Boys thing is something separate from 1972. Like it's just Billie doing what he loves and showing it to us. Still I'd love to hear it ahah I just hope it's an EP/Album with some love inside. I mean something they'd be hyped too to release, since the previous album seemed without soul (?)

I'm wondering if this will still happen with Omicron becoming such a problem. I know plenty of people already who are double vaxxed and boosted who have still contracted COVID. Sure, if you're vaccinated you're not going to die from it or likely even get particularly sick, but it's still not a good thing to have. We still don't know everything this virus is capable of. I really do hope they go through with it because I'd love to see Billie play live again. I just hope they do it with the utmost caution. I guess we'll find out tomorrow or sometime on Thursday whether or not it's still a go.

I got my copies for Xmas! Listening to the vinyl now while working from home. I love it! They sound fantastic! And Billie's singing is sooo good!

Wow, this is just awesome! I've always thought Billie has such a wonderful classic voice. It really is so well suited to those sweet 60's harmonies. Phenomenal vocals! He's really showing off his talent and range in this one for sure!

Awww... Look what one of my former interns gave me for Xmas.

I have a feeling the covers are a Billie Joe solo thing and the 1972 project are separate and maybe he deleted it thinking it’s better to just keep the excitement going for the new Green Day project. Maybe. Not sure. Plus, he has the New Years Eve solo performance coming up very soon. That could be another reason not to dilute the fan base with covers until maybe a few months from now. This pandemic is going on and on and making people so sad. I hope No Fun Mondays make a comeback after the excitement of the Billie Joe New Years Eve performance and the new 1972 Green Day project. So many fun things to look forward in spite of another shitty end to a shitty year. Thank god for Green Day. No wonder they’re God’s favorite band.

I’m with everything Billie Joe’s Eyelids said. So many people on here use this word ‘accountability’ like they themselves have to be the ones holding him accountable. How arrogant, egocentric & straight up backward can some people really be ? He has been held accountable , by many of people and behind closed doors too. But the fact some people on here have such high opinions of themselves, that they think they can just throw vile comments around about something that in reality, they know very little, if anything, about, says more about them, than it does the guy in question. Like why does somebody have to be held accountable on YOUR terms, what makes YOU so perfect that YOU get a free pass to say horrible shit about somebody that YOU know nothing about? How about you take your high opinion of yourself and your oh so perfect moral compass & practise what you preach ? The worlds fucked enough as it is without having to constantly shine a light on somebodies past mistakes.. What seriously do you gain by doing that ? Is it because your life is so middle of the road and boring ? Learn to be fuckin nicer to people and let people learn and grow, people can’t do that when they’ve got somebody constantly shouting abuse about them, wether it be at them close up, or in secret behind a laptop screen. Wise the F up!

I got my CD that I ordered last Friday! It arrived on Christmas Eve and I'd already forgotten I'd ordered it so it was a nice surprise.

I disagree. I think the pairing is great. Miley is popular but not new and not at her peak so it doesn't look like GD is trying to get exposure with the current "big thing". Both of them are feisty as hell. Miley has a very powerful rock voice and has been focusing on rock lately. And she's a Green Day fan. And Billie took his kids to see the Hannah Montana tour. Perfect!!
