So if Billie posts pics of Joey and someone on here calls him a pedophile on this thread, it's fine? And if it's not fine, why wasn't it called out? Also, it's ridiculous to continue calling him a public figure. His band is defunct and he has no social media presence. If anything, he's avoiding the public eye. But Billie should be able to post pics of him without this term continuing to come up. In the same vein, if Mike posts pics of Brit, that would make her fair game as well wouldn't it? I'm not trying to give you a hard time, I'm really not. But to me this is just ridiculous. By the way, Brit owns and promotes several businesses, and charities. So she is very much a public figure. She is also basically an antivax crusader online.. Let's at least have some consistency in respecting family members' privacy.

I really agree with you for the most part. But one way to keep a civil flow of conversation is to not throw out word bombs, or purposefully inflammatory and offensive posts aimed at getting a strong emotional reaction. Again, that's what mods are for.

Joey is no longer a public figure. He never posts anymore and he intentionally lays low because of exactly what we're talking about here. Brit on the other hand, posts her crazy about 5 times a day. So your point is backward. I am not defending Joey's behavior. What I am saying is that calling him a pedophile is not only not appropriate to the situation, but downright offensive. It's misuse of a word and it's true meaning, and it's defamatory. It should be prohibited in this context on this forum.

If you think that situation makes Joey a pedophile, you have no idea of what pedophilia is. You're using a term you don't understand. You're really outside of your knowledge area. Oh you're right. Billie made some huge mistakes about substances even as recently as within the last couple of years. However, we're not privy to his counseling sessions, details of the back story, what he went through while he knowingly used drugs that harmed his body, what all the exact truths are, how remorseful he is, and whether sources are 100% reliable. So it's not our place to be judge and jury. Life isn't black and white. Oh wait....

After listening to this a few times, I love most of it. But I've always loved the grungier sound of the older songs as opposed to the cleaner-sounding album tracks. One thing that really stands out is that it seems like they had a proper long and crazy version of Minority there, and it was cut down and mixed together in the interest of time. We still don't have a clean recording of a longer Minority, aside from maybe the 2004 AOL sessions that sound like crap today, and that song gains so much more from its live embellishments than any other GD song does.

They played the song Cigarettes and Valentines during the latter half of the 2010 NA/SA amphitheater tour. Wasn't half bad, either, and it was included on AAF. Just based on that, I'd like to have heard other stuff off of C&V, but if the masters were "lost", "stolen", thrown away, never actually recorded, whatever, it seems unlikely that they'd revisit a 20-year-old album that went in the trash because they weren't happy with it to begin with.

I like the theory of this ep or lp being released on bja's bday, but that's sort of a while away so I doubt the London studio teaser is the only teaser we are getting UNLESS the release is closer than speculated. So I'll throw my prediction out right now: if it's a full LP we'll get it in Feb. If it's just an EP with six songs we'll get it sooner. I know the fella who ran into bja mentioned specifically six songs, but that could have just been the ones they were done with, right?

Surprised we haven't gotten more hints yet. Maybe it's further off than we thought.
