  1. You’re right it’s weird but we’re gonna look back on these years for photos and there’s gonna be this big gap starting in 2020 where we have very little of Billie that isn’t a performance photo. Strange when you think of the thousands of shoots, selfies and candids from every year up until then.

  4. "Warning" is 21 today having been released on 3 October 2000 For anyone that hasn't read it already here's a Rocksound article from it's 20th birthday last year https://www.rocksound.tv/features/read/a-celebration-of-warning-the-album-that-changed-green-day-forever

  5. Wow, @jengd you're more organized than I am. I just have mine numbered by when I add them ("Billie Joe X", "Green Day Photoshoot X", Green Day Concert X" etc.). Sorting by era isn't a bad idea! Maybe I should get in on that.

  6. You can chat (or maybe find) people going to the show in this thread I'm in the UK and would normally be going but it's very unlikely I'll be well enough

  7. That episode was in 1993 and he couldn't have been more than what? 7?

  8. Pretty sure he’s still in his thirties I just can’t find the exact year. He was a little kid when they shot Full House (and he appeared around 1990?)

  10. @Slave To The Network I could not agree more! I have my pics sorted by era but did it quite recently and it was tough to decide which went where. It’s often down to what he’s wearing, the first two the leather jacket has no collar so I know it’s AI, the second it has a small collar and he wore it zipped up a lot so it’s 21CB. The first of the last two I think didn’t appear until a few years ago, I hadn’t seen it earlier but I think by the shirt it must be 21CB (put it in both folders just in case - now you know the extent of my habit) 😂😂 Third from the bottom is from AI premiere on Broadway and that messes my head as it’s during 21CB but about AI - the stress! 😂😂

  13. There is so much Tré and Kevin candid/fun/bts stuff this tour ❤️ thank the lord! Because seriously with this shit year or two and pandemic and so much more and if there’s basically no Billie Joe and very little Mike not only will we need more Tré but we’ll need a little extra too and that extra is Kevin ❤️ cheers to @The Grohl and @Montclare ❤️

  16. I was flipping through my Billie photos on my computer last night and decided to play a little game where I state which era a particular photo is from as fast as I can (specifically "is it AI or 21CB?"). I discovered by doing this that sometimes it's difficult to discern, especially late AI Billie when he had longer, fluffier hair. This just reinforces how ageless he can be. For example: The first is AI, the second is 21CB. Almost identical except for the level of eye makeup. I know for a fact the first two are AI and the second two are 21CB, but if I didn't already, it would be difficult to tell. These two I highly suspect are AI, but I don't know for sure and it's honestly anyone's guess. A handful of times I had to double take to decide whether a photo was 21CB or RevRad! How does he do it?!

  18. Don't know where to post this. In 2017 Green Day was supposed to do a North American tour only but they cancelled for different reason. I just heard from a big festival owner in Canada that they want to do this again but in late August in 2022. And this time they want to make it work. I really hope it's true. After cancelling Toronto I think we deserve it, us Canadians 😂

  19. I love when Billie Joe harmonizes with himself, especially on Rusty James.

  20. Off the top of my head I know he plays a harpsichord-like tone on Viva La Gloria (Little Girl) and regular piano on !Viva La Gloria! and 21 Guns.

  22. Yes, Warning is amazing! Every song is a blast. Perfect closer track! All the songs are nostalgic too. Definitely in top 5 albums.

  23. I was just jamming to Green Day like I usually do 24/7, but this time Spotify threw me for a loop: it decided to play all of Warning in order (my playlist categorized by album in order of release date, and I always put it on shuffle). As I was going through it, I was marveling at how good that album is. Lyrically, it's some of their best work. I can't think of a single complaint about this album (and I can complain about everything). I can't choose a favorite song off this album, so I'll give my top 5 (in no particular order): Blood, Sex, and Booze, Fashion Victim, Waiting, Macy's Day Parade, Hold On. Cassoulet (technically titled Castaway, but everyone knows he's saying cassoulet) gets an honorable mention.

  24. Warning is one of my favorite albums by them. Probably the album I listen to the most actually.

  25. I love Warning. It has some of my all-time-favourite songs (Macy's Day Parade, Waiting). I actually never got the hate for that album, it's easily in my top 5.
