For the many many people who have asked “how tall is Billie Joe?” over the years, finally a video has surfaced where he admits it himself — 5’7”

At least we knew it would be pre-taped and didn’t need to wait up if we didn’t want to. Not like the 2020 NYE performance on Fox 😆 that caused a lot of disappointment and rant tweets 😆 although nobody on NYE was saying they were gonna piss on their laptop 😆 this is my new fav Green Day fan overreaction to waiting and frustration ❤️ Green Day fans… Love you!

It's crazy because when you're watching them on stage they don't look small at all! Even Mike isn't so tall at 5'10". Maybe that's why They're all quite small

I think Tre is the shortest, just by a whisker, he certainly seems it in lots of pics though it pays to check out their shoes. 😂 I think Tre just seems bigger because he is much chunkier than Billie, also as @solongfromthestars said, Billie’s posture makes him seem smaller.

I'm still convinced Billie is 5'8". I'm nearly 5'8" (definitely an inch taller than you @Rumpelstiltskin2000 ) and Billie was at least an inch taller than me when I got onstage. I think that may well be because he slumps offstage but stands up straight when he's in his element.

Cool! I hope to see these tiny men in person some day. I am every intrigued. I think he’s shorter than 5’7”. Even the clip said “about 5’7” that could maybe mean almost anything. You’re 5’6” and he seemed short or just like he was trying to shrink with his posture? I always felt like he was an ultimate showman on stage but ultimately the shyest in real life when he wanted to be. I love his puffed up stage presence and his sometimes vulnerability in interviews etc.

The first time I saw Billie in person on the pavement/sidewalk outside the St James Theatre in New York I couldn't believe how tiny he was and I'm 5'6". He just seemed tiny in every way. I think it's partly because he keeps his hands in his pockets and hunches his shoulders over? I have to say even Tre seemed tiny when I met him but he was thinner on the 99 Revolutions Tour

Too short when you compare to Billie Eilish or Coldplay. But still cool to have stuff from Green Day! Hope we will get some new shit before the tour continuation in 2022.

It was nice to see Mike's base camera footage in the pro shot. But overall it was too short...

This is a sucky boring era for some of us not able to go to concerts. Pre-taped performances and live concert shots all look and feel the same. Except Life is Beautiful Billie Joe seemed to be so extra on that day for some reason but that’s it. All the other shows look the same/perfect from what I saw. That’s ok. It was what it was the big machine that is Green Day and Hella Mega. This era feels like a pre-fab set list and no interviews and a bunch of perfectly staged pre-tapes and not-so-behind-the-scenes scenes treats from Oakland Coffee but at least there were those. Ugh Green Day fans are spoiled ❤️ what’s with these PROFESSIONAL guitars? Billie Joe is so hot though. And Tré Cool rules! I hope to hell shit gets back to how it was post-Rev Rad and pre-Hella Mega for 2022. Felt like there was no real pleasant funny surprises this year. Except the burp. And the really good dance moves. Those were over the top next level excellent. The stuff of the greatest gifs. I hope something exciting happens and I can choke on my words. I can’t believe the most exciting thing I was excited about was the Coverups and it didn’t even happen. At least nobody is gonna stay up all night for a pre-taped thing unless they want to. *end rant - I miss Billie Joe’s livestream rants etc*

Green Day should just tell us what time they're on like a normal band 🙄😅

I like how it's cut, they focus on the band not the audience. I hate how with some festival footage (iHeart for example) they spend more time showing randos in the crowd singing than they show the band performing. This has minimal audience shots.
