  4. These are from Adrienne's Instagram post and I think they deserve to be here because my god is he gorgeous! @Squashie posted a screenshot of the first, but I managed to get the original image from the code so it's full sized. And here's a Jonathan Weiner shot that's new to me. His eyes are incredible and I love his smile.

  6. Awesome I’ve never seen that, thanks! I love how quickly it went from the album was stolen to, “I think an engineer got stoned and lost it” 😂 He’s so full of shit. It’s the worst cover story ever

  10. Is it necessary to point this out so much? It's not like he's doing something suggestive on stage, he's just a dude wearing trousers. I know we all appreciate Billie's looks here but there is a line between appreciating and scrutinising in an objectifying way. Don't take it the wrong way but if you have to write small maybe consider just not writing it.

  11. Actually same but it’s not like I feel worried or anything cause like I don’t wanna disrespect their relationship in anyway. It’s just something important to me as a fan, seeing their birthday messages for each other on their birthdays every year. They always make me feel happy because I honestly adore their friendship. I don’t wanna say that I disappointed but I was just waiting for it as he always did. So, it’s kinda bummer but I know that they always keep in touch privately anyways, so it’s actually okay.

  12. He looked so gorgeous in that interview and I think it’s gone from YouTube 🥲 it’s the “most obnoxious little bastards on the planet” one.

  15. I had a dream that we were Saturday and Sportnet was playing HCTS during the intermission. Right after the song another new Green Day song started playing. It was named Velvet Piranha.... Why? I don't fucking know. What trouble me the most in all this dream it's that I started dreaming in english wtf

  16. Yeah of course they talk privately and message and whatnot but the others who have posted publicly know that it’s as much for the fans as it is for him. Tre knew that, he surely sent a private message but he still posted for us. Adrienne knew it, she’s with him every day and didn’t need to. We appreciate it. We love to see it. I’m sorry Mike didn’t do the same for our sake, particularly with Billie off line publicly leaving an even bigger void.

  17. I agree, I am not reading anything into this at all, but I get warm fuzzies from their friendship, sure it just means they were talking in person.

  19. Exactly what I want from their next record. Safe, inoffensive music you hear browsing the aisles of TJ Maxx.

  22. The album is 90 minutes long and contains speeches. All three guys have their own songs where they tell "real stories" with sarcasm. There is elevator type of music in the background of every song. The last song is a classic Green Day song, but it suddenly ends after the 1st pre-chorus and the album ends. After this in a interviwe, Billie Joe will say that this will be their sound for the next 10 years, but album 15 is a 90 minutes long death metal album.

  23. I want the album to be terrible. Like a movie that's so bad it's good. Think Troll 2 or The Room. Just the poopiest sounding record ever.

  24. I’m gonna say him based on lack of capitalization and that PHGP isn’t with Warner/Reprise.

  29. I think Mike is aware of that too since he always tries his best to interact with fans. So, I guess that's why it was unexpected for all the fans and yes Billie being away from social media was already a bummer for us. What a great time for being a new fan as me, right?

  30. I expect something similar to Popper Punk, in other words, something close to greatness.

  31. Ok but some of the comments about Billie's body are a bit much and making some other posters uncomfortable. As we know there isn't an exact science to this so I just have to manage the thread as best I can. Just a little more discretion in what you post would be appreciated.

  33. https://www.altpress.com/features/best-pop-punk-drummers-of-all-time/ 20 POP-PUNK DRUMMERS WHO SET THE BEAT FOR THE WHOLE GENRE Tré Cool (Green Day) It may sound cliche, but it’s true: Ever since ’94, when Green Day skyrocketed to fame with the release of their pop-punk masterpiece, Dookie, drummer Tré Cool has been hailed as one of the best in the genre. Even as die-hard punk fans criticized the album for being too melodic, Cool’s fills and speed added an undeniable layer of texture to tracks such as “Burnout” and “Longview.” That’s why they’re still among the first songs many new pop-punk drummers set out to master.

  34. I love seeing the pics from that time he hung out with Post Malone in backstage. I think he looked really fine, I loved his outfit and everything (the hair). I know that he kinda looks crocked, he probably got tipsy from beers but nevertheless I love his look from that time cause I’m sure he was having a good time, chill/relaxed and I love that

  37. Punk’s 10 greatest guitarists of all time: 10. Billie Joe Arsmtrong (Green Day) We thought we’d start off with a controversial pick and bring you Green Day’s own Billie Joe Armstrong as our first contender. Though likely to be derided by punk purists who think the genre ended in 1978, Armstrong along with Tre Cool and Mike Dirnt brought punk rock to a new generation. The band’s seminal album Dookie is undoubtedly a modern masterpiece of puerile boredom and much of that is down to Armstrong’s uncensored stance on the modern world. It’s a sure-footed stance that he brings to guitar-playing too, thrashing with the precision intensity of a pneumatic drill. https://faroutmagazine.co.uk

  40. If You Were Born Today, February 17: You are a responsible, success-oriented, and driven person who rises to almost any challenge that comes your way. Your staying power is tremendous, and others are generally in awe of your ability to overcome obstacles. Your professional life is extremely important to you. It would be best if you were careful that your worldly ambitions don’t take over your life. Others admire you for your cool and collected approach to the world, and although you enjoy this reputation, it can come at a price–you don’t always open your heart to others and might feel alone even if people surround you. Famous people born today: Rene Russo, Lou Diamond Phillips, Michael Jordan, Denise Richards, Billie Joe Armstrong, Paris Hilton, Margaret Truman, Dominic Purcell, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Lucy Davis, Hal Holbrook, Sasha Pieterse. Throwback to simpler times/birthdays...🥰

  41. I actually really like the trilogy & RevRad and parts of FOAM. But I don't want them to just recreate those albums I'm fine with them taking their time making an album if it creates a great album. I just want a really good album

  43. I would love an album filled with Irish punk bangers! Picture Minority and Dirty Rotten on steroids.... The real party album we've always wanted! And then :a tour with Dropkick that can only end with everybody soaked in blood, sweat, and booze. Families reunite, the poverty rate goes down, runaway dogs come home! Songs about girls, gangs, girl gangs, and chaotic ghastly parties in the moors.

  45. Yeah I'm usually not the biggest fan of his hair all combed back like this too and prefer it more fluffy. But in this video, I don't know, it just works so well and it's so nice to see his pretty face. Maybe it's also because hairdressers are closed in Germany since December because we're on lockdown and everyone's running around looking like shit, so it's just so refreshing to see that something called a hairstyle actually exists
