Best duo of 2019 is a toss up between Billie/Kevin & Billie/Lenny for me. but also this precious moment:

I’m thinking he’ll look really good on the recorded NYE performance for tonight, one of his spiffy outfits most likely. Hopefully some eyeliner so his eyes stand out on National tv.

This should not be an unpopular opinion. I would love to see them.

Anyway... I don't have a favorite Billie moment. There are too many to choose from, so I'm just gonna say that I'm grateful for a wonderful year getting to see the boys back in action doing what they love and sharing it with all of us. These pics are pretty rad, though:

I'll go with- Billie fanboying over Kevin at the Golden Bull Longshot shows July and December Coverups shows Billie apparently doing a big spring cleaning and having to borrow all of Kevin's clothes Billie and Lenny (felt I should include at least 1 non B/K moment )

So its been months since they released the singles, FOA, and FRA. I thought the idea of releasing the first single back in september and the album in February was to use that time to release several singles and build up hype for the album, and that more money would be earned from the downloads of the singles, and all of that. So we didn't get any more singles. It just seems really strange to me. Sorry if this has already been discussed. It just hit me that we've spent more time in the last several months getting hyped over a hoax album and maybe that wouldn't have happened if there had been more singles. I know that they've done promotion and I really love the live performances of FOAM, but otherwise, it seems eerily quiet from the GD front, and now it's like 6 weeks til the album is released. Does anyone else feel like things are off, or is it just me?

A new single would help push the albim release. I can't say I'm hyped for it, but technically, yes, it would be good to release something shortly before the album drops. One thing I'd point out that seems lacking is consistency. Speaking of content that takes effort to create, they tend to start something that looks cool only to abandon the idea. Billie could do more of the puppet videos that were like a music show, it's something that'd keep more diehard fans feel connected instead of the rather a bit alienated posting that targets more random general public (eg billie e, post malone etc).

Nope not just you. I think you’re exactly right. I was hyped for this new direction and promotion under Crush in September. I thought they had a lot of surprises planned. And then everything just slowed to a screeching halt.

I have loved most of Candice’s styling for the boys, particularly the Revrad stuff but not a huge fan of the rock hall induction outfit for Billie, didn’t think it felt rock n roll enough.

FYI while posting a youtube video or Billie flashing his bum is ok, posting full frontal nude photos (or links to them) isn't allowed on GDC (I removed them from the previous page). Also maybe a general reminder about where we draw the line in this thread is needed? The idea is that it's for appreciating the band members' looks and/or talents. Discussing their personal lives, or going over the line into posting sexual thoughts or fantasies about them/what you'd like to do to them etc or like, talking about what dick size you'd prefer them to have is to be avoided. Not saying all these things necessarily apply to to these last couple of pages (because I don't think they fully do) but this is just the general guideline and it does get gone over sometimes. Oh no! Lol. Financially speaking, my kids have a firm deadline for our contribution -- 4 years of college, graduate, or don't, it's up to them. They are welcome to live at home as long as they need to, but we won't pay tuition/housing for college after 4 years. My older son is on track. My younger son... time shall tell. College may not be his thing. I really hope in a few years we will be able to take some spontaneous weekend trips and splurge a little more on ourselves. Maybe I'm just dreaming!!! I wonder how hard it must be to try and manage him... he seems like the type that would resist anybody else micromanaging him, and we all know he's a bit sensitive to "constructive criticism". Lol.

That’s just it when it comes to those things though. He’s doing it all himself without a plan. It seems random because it is.

There might be an issue with sticking up with ideas long enough, but this is a guy who accomplished a lot so most likely he can get work done and there surely are other people involved in the marketing... They could have shot 5 episodes instead of 2 and spaced them out through a month or 5 weeks. It would be consistent, fans would have something little to look forward to and a reason to look at the social media. It'd be better than alternating between randomly throwing the content out and silence. Oh, yeah... definitely won't surprise me

Mind you I'm only talking about units sold between those dates. Anything prior doesn't count. Streams also don't count. I'll allow legal downloads. That is them struggling in the shadow of AI. Now everyone expects their albums to mean something or be some statement.

The only thing I think is odd is the lack of a new single. Other than that, I feel like the appearances are pretty on target for the current period with the AMAs, Game Awards, and NYE. I wouldn’t expect interviews and late night performances until around a week or 2 prior to the album release, at the earliest. But yeah if we don’t see a new single in the next couple of weeks I’m going to find that very weird. Another thing...Green Day and Billie Joe have got to pick up there social media game. That is where it’s really at. It was miserable for Rev Rad and was looking promising for this era but it’s lacking again. Hopefully that’s just because of the holidays and it will pick up again. Billie could get the most attention with some good posts on Instagram and Twitter (preferably another butt pic to celebrate the new release but I’ll take anything attention-grabbing).
