Totally this. And on top of everything else with the video, I love how this was a chance for him to see "real time" the outpouring of interest and interaction with the fans in a much different environment than a show. At a show you have a giant crowd and no matter where you go on stage, those closest to you are screaming and reaching in your direction at all moments. Here, he's getting a ton of comments thrown at him, but they're all streaming one by one and he can actually read what everyone's saying to him. Kind of a cool and different way to interact with the fans and audience. Also must be surreal to randomly press a button and know that thousands are engaging with you immediately from the comfort of your living room at a moment's notice. Hopefully this was a nice little reinforcement how important both he and his music are to his fans. This was awesome.

For those who aren't aware Brody has been very ill and has been in hospital. via bubukittyfk earlier today Doctors weren't able to diagnose Brody after every test imaginable but he is finally stable enough to be home, and I am going to say it's because of all the positive vibes and well wishes received.... We send many thank yous and hugs. 🖤 and this was posted on July 19th by Sara I can't remember the last time my heart hurt this bad. 💔 Brody is back in the hospital, worse than before, more tests, no answers. Praying for my little potato day in and day out. Keepin hope ❤ 🙏🏼 Sara's first post about Brody being unwell was back in March when she posted this bubukittyfk - This little potato. ❤ The past few days have been a bit emotional as Brody is going on day 3 at the neurologist hospital. The doctors are struggling to identify what is causing the tremors, collapsing and spastic behavior. Multiple doctors are working together to come up with a solid verdict, and we have no option but to remain positive for this lil guy. In honor of #nationalpuppyday , here is a picture of the pup that makes my world go round I know Brody is obviously a dog and not a member of Green Day so I get that technically these posts don't belong here (except for the Tre one) but he is Tre's dog and this situation is very sad. Sara's latest post in particular with Tre lying on the rug hugging Brody with the caption "Appreciating every moment" is pretty heart wrenching. I figure some fans may not know so here it is and mods can feel free to delete the pics if they want.

One of the reasons why I like Dookie is because its a great album to listen to when I'm angry about something: This morning when I was on my way to the bus stop to get to work, I was crossing over at the traffic lights when a car (which had stopped at the red lights) suddenly decided to not ''Stop When the Red Lights Flash''. I was half way over the road and I heard the car coming at me, I turned to look at the car and it obviously wasn't going to stop, so I hurried across the road and it missed me by inches . It wasn't going very fast so it wouldn't have hurt me if it had hit me. But the crazy thing is that after narrowly missing me, the driver then proceeded to go straight to the back of a one and a half mile long traffic jam where the idiot would probably have been stuck for 30 minutes ! I'm guessing that the driver was too busy trying to pull up behind the cars in front he simply failed to give way to the crossing pedestrians. Not only did he absolutely scare the shite out of me, but he didn't gain much distance by jumping the lights. It all happened so quickly I didn't even have a chance to shout at him. Anyway, when I made it to work in one piece, I decided to vent my anger by putting Dookie on my IPod. If anything or anyone pisses me off its a great album with helping me to release my anger. Boy, was I fuming this morning.

Well she comes home and the entire planet is in her living room. Any woman unprepared would not want to be on camera. He keeps turning it in her direction until finally she was like ok that's enough and Billie's reaction is so cute he's like, "Sorry, gotta go!" Chastened by the wife. 😂

Hell yes!! Dookie, Insomniac and Nimrod are amazing for helping out with bad days and serious anger issues. Been keeping me going strong for the last 20 plus years! Bleed this band!!!

I love the flow of that verse! Not sure if I could sing along perfectly but it sounds so good. Just read the the lyrics to Minority for the first time, was so sure "A face in the crowd unsung, against the mold" was actually "a face in the crowd, a song against them all". "Like a sheep runs from the herd" has always just been garbled speech or something about a hood, lol. Learn something new every day!

That was the cutest thing in the world to wake up to. Jakob asking what he's streaming on and Billie going, "Ummm, it's my BillieJoeArmstrong." What a cute family, and what a dork of a lead singer we have.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. He looks like he came back from a day at the beach and his hair is or was wet so it dried that way. I like the messy surfer hair. It looks a lot more natural than his done up stage hair. I think he looks great in this video! He looks younger than ever, healthy and relaxed at his house. All you naysayers need to calm down! He is just having fun. Sheesh!

He had his teeth fixed up and veneers put on a few months ago (just looks different because of the camera angle), he's chilling out at home so he doesn't care what his hair looks like, and he's having fun with his family and fans. Chillax!
