  2. That glorious moment when you hear your mom singing Green Day around the house. I trained her well

  3. It's not an unpopular opinion but given FN and JOS were discussed here a lot I will add my 50 cents: Guys, to be honest, I've never been in such love with a Green Day song through my 12-years-greendayfan-experience as with Forever Now. It has every fucking thing I love Green Day for. It is as angry at parts as during the younger days, it is as reflexive as they became now, it is as epic as they sounded during AI - 21st CB days, it has this classic rock vibe which Billie adores and always wants to show his connection to it and it is simply PERFECT live.

  6. love that shade you threw me It's hard to make a real decision because the only one I'm listening to regularly is FN, but is that because it's the best one or because RevRad is still new? And yes, DRB bass solo

  7. Okay, so I just listened it to make sure we were talking about the same song (we were) and turns out I actually do like it, I've just been skipping it for so long that I forgot how good it actually was because I'd pre-decided it was dull before giving it a chance. So yeah, I'll have to reverse my decision on that one. I'd still say it's the worst of the 4, the intro and outro are too long and a lot of the part changes feel forced. But it's probably only the worst by one >, rather than 7. Also that bass solo in the middle is killer! You tried to do a Forever Now style typo! I like WMUWSE, though that could partly be because I've attached a fair bit of personal meaning to it, rather than just the song itself - I guess it is kinda repetitive.

  8. It's so hard to rank the multi-part songs because they're all pretty different and it very much depends on what mood I'm in. It also very much depends which part you look at. One thing I can say for sure though, is FN = HC = JOS >>>>>>> DRB. LNOE is by far my least favourite 21CB song. There are days when I'm into it, but most of the time it just bores me to sleep, it drags on and on and is so musically and lyrically dull. The only upside is that it's super easy on Green Day Rockband It might even be my most skipped song of all time.

  9. I like Christian's Inferno! In fact, the only 21CB songs I'm not fussed about is LNOE and, to some extent, 21 Guns (although the musical version gives me chills) Oooh that is unpopular Nice Guys Finish Last is one of the best on the album. Although I will admit that the middle section of Nimrod sort of merge into one somewhat for me. Doesn't mean I don't still adore the album and it's one of my favourites! I agree about Homecoming being better than JOS. I just love when they get all experimental. It's hard to rank those songs though....I'd probably say HC > FN > DRB > JOS

  10. I get this feeling. When I turned on the car, the radio came on with Still Breathing. I just sat there smiling and listening.

  11. I managed to catch Still Breathing on the radio for the first time in the car today and I almost screamed Poor mum who was driving had a moment of panic because she thought I saw something on the road or whatever. It just made me really happy

  12. I'd say HC > FN > JOS > DRB I think all of them are great, but I don't understand why people like JOS so much more than Homecoming. HC is great from start to finish, JoS is also good but the only part that I love is Dearly Beloved. FN is a great song from the new album and DRB is good too, although it wouldn't be my favourite from the trilogy. It's nice to have a 6 minute multi-part song in the trilogy though.

  13. Anyone notice in the RevRad CD booklet that in the picture where Tre is holding the boombox on his shoulder, he scratched X-BASS off of the right speaker completely and X-B off of the left speaker so the left speaker just sais ASS. What a guy, I love that type of shit!

  14. I don't think that's an unpopular opinion. Most people say that it would be better as 1 album. Personally I think it's fine as 3
