  1. I've had the drum solo for Bang Bang stuck in my head all morning since I was laying in bed. Just keeps repeating over and over, didn't even rock the album yesterday. Keeps clicking in!

  2. Every time I see gd live I always see people fangirling and screaming as soon as Billie looks in their general direction. I, however, always stand there thinking "Oh my god, look at him, he's so tiny! Look at his tiny legs!" When did I go from fangirling to cooing at them as if they're puppies?

  3. My suggestion would be not to research the setlists - just have a blast on your concert date.

  4. I was watching this live video of Don't Leave Me from 2015, and I think it'd be such a great song to represent 39/Smooth with on the tour (of course, Tré would be smashing it on the drums, even though John does a great job here!!)

  5. Reading a Kerry Hudson book and it says, "...started hanging out with the freaks and geeks who sang Green Day..."

  7. There's a restaurant here where I live with a Rock and Roll theme, they have hamburgers and drinks with the names of bands or artists, and they have the Green Day, a vegan hamburger There's also a music channel that have an hour of rock videos and on the commercial they use Still Breathing

  8. I find that once I'm there any thoughts of the setlist go out the window anyway , you just get caught up in the show and exactly what they play isn't that important.

  9. Is anyone doing anything for Billie's Birthday.I feel weird saying Billie,I usually say Billie Joe Armstrong because my friends don't know who I am talking about but whatever.I was planning on making a cake and blowing out candles for him.

  10. They're not released. With Green Day they very rarely change the setlist up on a given tour, but you do get the occasional rarity or older song thrown in somewhere towards the middle. If you check setlist.fm you'll see that the vast majority of shows on a given tour are almost identical.

  11. You're completely right. RevRad is a logical step in an evolutionary process that leaves the highly detailed concept records behind. The Trilogy was more an experiment than anything else, though some good songs (Stay the Night, Lazy Bones, Brutal Love, DRB) came out of it. RevRad is the road back from hell, a very personal record grounded in the reality of today. It'll be interesting to see how the 13th records will turn out. More political than RevRad I think, though we might see some surprises.

  13. Just Billie Nope. It's my favorite Green Day song too, holy shit, I never thought I'd find someone who shares that opinion with me! That is a fake recording made out of other live recordings with added distortion A band
