Green Day: 15 not particularly interesting facts I did know

I don't know the exact make, but i'm pretty sure he's claimed to use Fender strings in a few interviews, although on the back of Ernie Ball string packs it lists Green Day as a band who uses their strings. I have no clue about what gauge, but Mike most likely uses nickel roundwound strings.

They did but they are featured on their magazine this month. In the article they stated how they are working on their 12th studio album. I would think SESAC would be in the know.

Do you know what SESAC does? In a short form, they monitor an artists songs for royalty purposes. So basically if someone uses a GD song and doesn't pay for the right, this organization is responsible for finding that and charging them for royalties. Considering what they do, I would think they would be aware of release dates of new music.

ok so the last paragraph in that write up makes me definitely think that things are happening right now. I know that quote is over a year old, but it says that green day are new to SESAC and I don't think they'd say that the band is currently working on their 12th album if something isn't going to be happening soon

so this isn't really a green day thing, more of a me thing that relates to a green day song. i had a dream last night about this girl i had a huge crush on like 14-15 years ago. If i were to do a High Fidelity style top 10 heartbreak list she would be at #2... anyways, i just listened to AI because of this dream, because whatshername is a song i'm totally feeling right now. i heard that right after high school she started dating this dude who didn't treat her well (did she ever marry old what's his his face?). that's all i heard and then a few years after that she started working at a business right next door to where i was working. i saw her in the parking lot once and she pretended not to see me. it's weird that every so often i think about her or have a random dream about her, but she's never been an internet person, no facebook or anything (she disappeared without a trace!), so no way of finding her or anything. i'm sure nothing would happen between us but it'd be nice to catch up. other songs relating to this: Speed of Mutation by Screeching Weasel and Lighters by Plow United. PS i'm drunk.
