  2. There are like 4 songs in the whole "musical"... I just thought of Billie's voice in it. and about the puppet sex and about that swastika from penises. The problem with satire in this movie is that I just fail to see what is it targeted at. I saw it a long time ago and don't remember much so that might be the reason though. You're not even close. This is pure insanity. It's like a Lushotology manifesto

  3. It is supposed to be satirical. But it is just a bad film, so bad that it is pretty much unwatchable.

  4. yeah, it's such bullshit that it sometimes makes you wonder how much of it was intentionally bad, stupid or over-the-top or if John Roecker attempted to make actual "art". I think it's intentionally over-the-top.

  5. The problem with it was not only was it pretty disturbing, it was just an awful film. If it was well done, I can deal with disturbing. This was just bad.

  6. I won't. I don't want to get traumatized completely.

  7. A few month ago I read that Green Day had something to do with that movie, so I started watching it and I was like: I've never finished it and I feel like I shouldn't. Seeing that with your grandparents would be awful

  8. Oh my god The first time I saw that movie I was 14 and needless to say it shocked me. I mean, the whole animated/stop motion/puppet movie thing is soooo misleading!

  9. That's cool, I would've loved to see it in a cinema! Not with my grandparents though haha

  13. Probably a good thing that they didn't . And I didn't even know that was shown in cinemas

  14. The only thing that bugs me about Green Day and Germany is that I couldn't get through with a trip to Konstanz in 2012. My parents and I have always wanted to go there, but when I suggested also seeing Green Day, they backed out even though I would pay for it myself . Maybe we'll make a trip there this year and the missed opportunity hurts. This is a totally random recollection - years ago, my grandparents almost took me to cinema to see Live Freaky Die Freaky. They were choosing a movie they would go to with me and the only animated/puppet movie (= for kids) on was LFDF. Both of them were totally flabbergasted when they found out it was 18+. If only they knew...
