Random Green Day related story: Yesterday my brother was playing video games in my room. (Need for Speed Most Wanted on PS3, to be specific.) and I heard a familiar song and I attacked him and told him to stop driving so I could hear the song playing on his car's radio, and guess what!?... Stop When The Red Lights Flash is on the game soundtrack haha.

I haven't entered this thread for ages and I'm still on about the same things but I want to remind the world that I exist and so venture to point out that Warning is their best album ever no doubt.

I actually like ¡Dos!, and think that ¡Uno! is the worst of the trilogy. Actually, Nightlife is one of my favorites from the trilogy.

I've been playing my Dad some of my green day vinyls. I played him nimrod a couple days ago. Then yesterday we were talking and he called himself a nimrod and then said how appropriate that he should say that. Also I was with my aunt yesterday and I was asking about my cousin and she said she was a basket case. Not very significant but it makes me smile.

Insomniac is fucking awesome. I love everything about it. I love Billie's voice in it, including the fact that I can't understand a lot of the shit he says. To me, it adds to the raw emotion and attitude featured in the lyrics. You can hear the frustration & anger in his voice. Also, I can't quite put it into words, but the instrumentation in that album is just in-your-face, punchy awesomeness. It has a distinct sound that stands out amongst the rest of their albums and that's why it's one of my personal favorites.

I'd like to witness that

At the end of Bullet in a Bible, right after Billie finishes the last lyric "I hope you had the time of your life", if you listen closely you can hear a girl screaming "Yes I did". I don't know why but it makes me very happy

He's aged incredibly well. Yes, definitely that accounts for some of it, too. Billie Joe actually looked younger to me in the pictures at the rehearsals for the Hall of Fame earlier that same day. ^^ So lovely.

Had read the posts about Billie Joe looking his age (or not) a couple days ago but just now have a chance to reply. Maybe it's b/c this photo is in B&W but it sorta illustrates what some people were mentioning (like his eyes, for example): He's still hotter than 99.9% of men of ANY age IMHO.
