I shit you not, i saw a lyric video where they said one of the lines was "I play the fiddle when I get myself all wound up" I laughed so hard first time I saw that4 points

I like Nightlife, but what I'd really like to see is a sprawling melodic chorus with hip hop verses featuring a good rapper. Green Day with Amy Renee Heidemann would be sploogeworthy.3 points

I love the major Green Day love fest that the HoB show/HoF induction has caused3 points

At the end of Bullet in a Bible, right after Billie finishes the last lyric "I hope you had the time of your life", if you listen closely you can hear a girl screaming "Yes I did". I don't know why but it makes me very happy2 points

"He makes a plan to take a stand but always ends up sitting" has got to be one of my favourite Green Day lyrics2 points

Well, they are all easy to play. What I really like about Letterbomb is that the individual piece parts are really easy, but they are doing alot of different things, little things, that make it a more difficult Green Day song. Don't get me wrong, it is still easy. But for me, its just more interesting. Give it a try, I think it is alot of fun to play.2 points

Billie, Mike, and John's set at Pinole seems to be receiving a lot more attention since Green Day's induction. That performance has been one of my most watched videos for years. I always thought they would never perform those songs again (especially with John) ... Now that it has actually happened, and I wasn't able to be there, upsets me so much. I can't watch it without being like "FUCK, I MISSED MY ONLY CHANCE TO SEE THEM REUNITE AND PLAY MY FAVORITE SONGS" Terrible feeling. I don't think i'll ever get over it.2 points

He's aged incredibly well. Yes, definitely that accounts for some of it, too. Billie Joe actually looked younger to me in the pictures at the rehearsals for the Hall of Fame earlier that same day. ^^ So lovely.2 points

Yeah, something has gone wrong if saying that "I don't really think the trilogy is shitty don't hit me lol" becomes an unpopular opinion or something absurd in my opinion... It's totally okay to genuinely like the trilogy and own up to it. Just because some people on the internet think they are bad albums, doesn't make it the truth But I've made the same mistake... I'm easily influenced.2 points

From Larry's Livermore instagram : Tre: "I told Billie taking that class at Camp Winnarainbow would do wonders for his sense of balance." Billie makes a speech about cake.2 points

Listened to Insomniac in full for the first time in a long time (For some reason I listen to all the songs a lot but never the full album at once, just an insomniac song every now and then ) And is it just me or is this the hardest album to understand billie on for the most part? Listening to it without reading lyrics, its kinda to understand sometimes, maybe its just me1 point

I thought the scene was pure gold. Especially his face when his mobile rang. Dirty liar.1 point

John was literally amazing. We should convince them all to tour as Sweet Children and let Tré enjoy married life for a while.1 point

I'm from Poland originally so I can't to it If I visit family I wouldn't survive because all you get is sausage and vodka lmao Vegans don't survive in Poland No, I'm just kidding ... it would be interesting to try that out I've been thinking to become vegetarian, not only for those poor animals' sake but also for the environment Oh geez, I wasn't prepared for these pictures... Yes, lovely indeed Now I feel like I need to post a picture of Billie before a Mod tells me to continue the conversation elsewhere Fabulous.1 point

Maybe because he was writing about something that meant something to him. Hopefully more of that will come.1 point

I think The Forgotten is Green Day's most underrated (or... well, forgotten) song. I also love Take Back so much.1 point

I have my mother´s house for me alone right now, ´cause she´s at hospital until tomorrow (harmless reason). So I thought I bring some albums with me and listen to some music. Hell, I didn´t know she had such good loudspeakers! I blew up the whole living room, playing AI, 21stCB and Stop, Drop and Roll, and I blew up myself. I can´t do that in my flat with neighbours all around and just shitty loudspeakers. But here... just WOW! I really had a blast, and was sweating water and pee... just couldn´t miss this opportunity. These speakers really make a difference, damn, Green Day sound awesome!1 point

I saw that in-person. And I touched that. This is the sexiest he's looked since the 21CB tour, imo. ... I'm dead.1 point

To us who discovered them through Dookie, which is their breakthrough album, it does not get more meaningful than this.1 point
