  1. In the interview he did for Broadway talks, with Michael Mayer, someone asked him if he ever regretted any song he had written. It took him a split second to say no, then he followed it up with about 10 more no's. Just like anything we do in life, some of the things we create we like better than others. It doesn't mean we don't like them. It just means we like other things better.

  4. I just found the quote from GW, Billie said: So yeah he pushed him to record it, but that doesn't mean he didn't like it once he'd recorded it. Along similar lines he's said he wasn't going to put Give Me Novacaine on American Idiot but Adrienne told him he should so he did. Again not really an indication that he didn't like it but it's another one he hesitated with.

  6. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame posters: 2015 inductees as you've never seen them Green Day Billie Joe Armstrong and his bandmates - bassist Mike Dirnt and drummer Tre Cool - have done something amazing. In their very first year of eligibility, the punksters from California are being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. http://www.cleveland.com/entertainment/index.ssf/2015/04/2015_rock_hall_inductee_poster.html#2

  7. Jesus of Suburbia She Holiday Know Your Enemy 21st Century Breakdown Boulevard of Broken Dreams Welcome to Paradise Basketcase Minority 21 Guns When I Come Around American Idiot Oh Love Let Yourself GO Kill the DJ This the tracks mentioned in that "Coming to a City Near You" video. While they are all singles, it would still be a unique and awesome set. I know people are going to hate on it ending with Kill the DJ, but whatever. I think that's kind of you. I can see big pyro explosion going off at the end and fake (or real) blood raining down on everyone at the end. Billie Joe laughs, throws his guitar into the blood just like he did with the slime in American Idiot's music video and they are off the the next city. I might do one with these songs, but bulk it up with other songs, later.

  8. Don't really get the love for When I Come Around either on the album or live, good song but pales compared to most of the other songs on Dookie and live it's one of the less exciting songs since it's neither upbeat enough to be particularly fun or energetic nor slow enough for a swaying singalong moment. Even Mike doesn't understand it (from 2:00) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKTP7-4Mlk4 I do like it when Billie changes the lyrics though ("How now brown cow", "I'm a loser, a drug user", "I'm having sex with Mike", "Mike Dirnt's a dirty whore" etc). Best thing about it.
