So I'm playing the AAF version of "Going to Pasalacqua" on our common room's speaker, and one of the people sitting here with me just asked "What language is this in?" Good to know that whatever country I'm in, Billie's vocals will still be incoherent.

Guys! I finally got a picture with Billie! I met Billie, Mike, and Tre breifly after they did GMA for Kill the DJ, but they didn't speak and barely signed a picture for me. It was literally only 3 of us at MTV studios, and they were not very nice. FINALLY, I got a picture and had a nice moment with him last week. He was rehearsing for the Little Kids Rock event, and I only found out the night before and panicked. He was so cute and called me sweetie and signed two of my CDs in the rain. Ughhh I forgot how much I absolutely adore him!

If only Billie slurred the lyrics of the Trilogy's songs.

Wish somebody would jump in and translate articles in other languages, as a lot of them, for example the ones from BRAVO, are written in slang, and they're hard to translate otherwise. Doing The-Greatest-Hits-The-Dookie-21stAnniversary-Rock'n'roll-Hall-of-Fame-Not-Washed-Up-At All-Probably-Tour would be the worst move they could do at this point so we'd better hope either for some decent new material or rather nothing. I'm not interested in seeing them doing anything like this. It would make the whole situation even worse, imo.

Indeed. I have my driving playlist aligned so that the live recording of Nightwish's "Dark Chest of Wonders" with Floor Jenson segues seamlessly into "Going to Pasalacqua" and the combined epicness gives me a little thrill every time.

On the plus side that's clearly one of the best musical recordings in the history of the world.

I didn't want to start a new topic but if GD were inducted into the hall of fame next year would that be enough incentive to tour or would they need an album to promote & tour. Thoughts....

Who knows? Who cares? Just seems like a Tré thing to happen.

Nothing anyone says about Tre could ever surprise me, and I completely believe this. It's not like he'd care if people saw him having sex - he milked a dog straight into his coffee, you can't get much worse than that.

Well two people have said it's the solo and that is cool so that does make sense . And the lyrics are really good too, and you can kind of sing that children's song that goes "There's a worm at the bottom of my garden, and his name is wiggly woo" along with it (you can sing that part during the verse and "wiggle all day and wiggle all night" fits well with "Pedestrian is what I am") which is also good. So I do like it a lot. But if I'm listening to Foxboro I want 60s party songs and it just doesn't quite sound enough like one to me.
