I think my Physics teacher might be an Idiot - I went in yesterday wearing a 39/Smooth shirt, and the first thing he said was "aren't their first four albums older than you?" Also, there was a video he got on YouTube to demonstrate something that had clips of Billie Joe in it, and (this one's tenuous) he wrote a question up today based around bottle rockets (and celebrate...?).

Yeah I don't tend to believe that. Much like I didn't believe Billie when he said in an interview "I'm only 5'8" . Well I suppose he could be approaching 5'10, not 5'11 though.

5' 10" is average for a man over here, 5' 9" in the US. 5' 11" isn't huge but I really wouldn't consider it short.

I feel the same. Breakdown is objectively their best album in terms of songwriting, arrangement, performance and production, but Insomniac is my favourite to listen to.

Well personally I prefer listening to say Insominac or Warning. They're just solid albums that i can sit and listen to all the time. However 21st Century Breakdown i have to be in the mood to listen to. But it's the most ambitious and well crafted album they've made. The instrumentation and lyrics are so perfect and different to what they've done before. It's probably musically the biggest risk they've taken and I'm glad they took that risk. It may not be my personal favourite but it's the best they've done musically? I hope that makes sense haha

i've never really understood all the hate on the wmuwse video. i mean, i don't LOVE it, but i've never seen any reason to dislike it. i've seen far worse music videos and at least it's entertaining. and the american idiot music video is literally perfect.
