I just watched Jesus Of Suburbia from Bullet In A Bible and I don't see how anyone could seriously think Green Day weren't the best band in the world in 2005.2 points

I've said all along, and maintain, that Nuclear Family and Stay The Night are the only songs on the Trilogy strong enough to stand up to anything on any other Green Day album.1 point

The chorus is fucking boring. Let yourself go x12, that's too much. I enjoy it because I think, at least I have this impression, that it's a song on which you romp during the concert. As for the lyrics, I don't remember exactly because it's been a long time since I last listened to the trilogy.. And I just can't stand the studio version, like BJ's voice sounds like an eunuch who has breathed helium.1 point

Let Yourself Go gets my vote coz it's fun to play along with, but it's nothing special.1 point
-
Agree. Like Let yourself go. The live version kicks ass but in studio, it's just shitty.1 point
-
Yeah, I'm really looking forward to the demo versions. I'm hoping they'll be superior to the album versions and actually have decent guitar tones.1 point

Nuclear Family, Stay the Night, Let Yourself Go and Kill the DJ. I always think that 'British' words sound odd in an American accent. So you should probably start learning how to speak in a British accent1 point

I just had a massive cull of my iTunes library. RIP 16 Trilogy songs (including 8 from iUno! ) Bullet in a Bible is probably one of my favourite releases by them. A gif from the UK Inbetweeners? We just need to get you drinking tea and calling people mate/love and you're nearly there!1 point

As a pedantic grammar nerd/nazi, I'm quite disappointed with myself. I guess it was probably autocorrect, but I obviously didn't proofread my post. I can only humbly apologise to all those offended by it No. No it isn't. :angry1 point

You better get in a dogmatic mood real damn quick lol1 point

As much as I adore JOS (I mean, I don't even need to go into all the reasons why it's outstanding, do I?) I can kind of understand why people might not like it. It's unquestionably massively overblown, so if you're not into that kind of thing then something like Sweet 16 is bound to appeal more. /uncharacteristically diplomatic post1 point

Thanks, Ceadog, that image'll come in useful. In all seriousness, why on earth? How is it even possible to suggest they captured the zeitgeist and the imagination of the public the way AI did? We need a Coldplay fan to come in here and explain.1 point

I think the trilogy (Uno especially) is incredibly underrated... But more-so, when 'Oh Love' was first released I shrugged it off very quickly. Have just gone back to it 12 or so months later, and this time I am listening with a decent pair of headphones, and holy fuck, it's incredible what you can hear with appropriate equipment1 point
