I just watched Jesus Of Suburbia from Bullet In A Bible and I don't see how anyone could seriously think Green Day weren't the best band in the world in 2005.2 points
-
In all seriousness, while I agree with the high rankings of "Rusty James" and "Stay the Night", how is "Troublemaker" better than "Oh Love", "Nuclear Family", or even "Kill the DJ"?1 point
-
I've said all along, and maintain, that Nuclear Family and Stay The Night are the only songs on the Trilogy strong enough to stand up to anything on any other Green Day album.1 point
-
Let Yourself Go gets my vote coz it's fun to play along with, but it's nothing special.1 point
-
Agree. Like Let yourself go. The live version kicks ass but in studio, it's just shitty.1 point
-
Yeah, I'm really looking forward to the demo versions. I'm hoping they'll be superior to the album versions and actually have decent guitar tones.1 point

Nuclear Family, Stay the Night, Let Yourself Go and Kill the DJ. I always think that 'British' words sound odd in an American accent. So you should probably start learning how to speak in a British accent1 point

When I heard the trilogy at first I was like ''ugh, I don't really like this, it seems very poor to me, musically and... lyrically (yeah meaning the lyrics, sorry ). And then I saw Cuatro and realized, it represents so much work, hours, days and nights, and they seemed to really enjoy what they were doing, actually... I think that it makes me enjoy the trilogy a bit more1 point

I just had a massive cull of my iTunes library. RIP 16 Trilogy songs (including 8 from iUno! ) Bullet in a Bible is probably one of my favourite releases by them. A gif from the UK Inbetweeners? We just need to get you drinking tea and calling people mate/love and you're nearly there!1 point

As a pedantic grammar nerd/nazi, I'm quite disappointed with myself. I guess it was probably autocorrect, but I obviously didn't proofread my post. I can only humbly apologise to all those offended by it No. No it isn't. :angry1 point

As much as I adore JOS (I mean, I don't even need to go into all the reasons why it's outstanding, do I?) I can kind of understand why people might not like it. It's unquestionably massively overblown, so if you're not into that kind of thing then something like Sweet 16 is bound to appeal more. /uncharacteristically diplomatic post1 point

Well yeah.. I don't know if that's the word I was looking for but what I meant to say is that some songs are pretty regular.. But then you have Nice Guys Finish Last, Hitchin' a Ride, Redundant, Scattered, Uptight, King for a Day, Good Riddance etc.. But songs like All the Time or Jinx just bore me. Well.. If my memories are right, when the trilogy came out all the forum was like "OMFG, THIS SONGS IS THE BEST" and I was like "Ehm... right". Yeah I know its not shameful.. The thing is that the forum is quite filled 20's years old people who are like 'New Stuff Haters' (Some) so... I have to make things clear hahah Also the first song I heard was Holiday and I get into Green Day like in 2010 so... HAHA, Yeah I do understand what are you saying. HAHAHA Yes the lyrics at some point are silly but I like the song1 point
