James Durbin is beating Foo Fighters, Panic! is beating RHCP, No Doubt is beating Van Halen, Modest Mouse is beating U2, and Five Finger Death Punch is beating Pearl Jam. I think I just gave up on humanity.
This morning when I was about to go to school I heard my brother singing Nice Guys Finish Last:
"Pressure, cook her, paint my brain, and tell me I'm insane! I'm so effing happy I cooked piiiiiiiiiiie!"

That's right soldiers, it's March Madness once again!
Green Day won March Madness 2011, so we've got a title to defend.
I'm going to to update the title of the thread each round so we can keep track of who Green Day is against.
Voting starts on March 12th. So rest up.
For those who remember the great times in last years march madness, here is the thread.

A hilarious memory
And the victory banner.
For those just joining us, I'm sure it'll be twice as fun this year
Here's a little extra incentive
Can't wait to see who we're up against

I thought I was gonna die when I saw 67 pages of Mike Dirnt! I'll make something like a sig out of this cool stuff.Seriously, don't judge me,but I think hhe's MUCH more handsome than Billie Joe.My friend says Mike's ugly, almost killed him.
Oh yes... it's a paparazzi shot. It's a picture of him and his girlfriend taking a walk on the beach. And you can see his belly.
Tré being sexy:
it's not so revealing at all... nevermind that.
I think it would be absolutely inconceivable to NOT release a single before the festivals. Amiright? We essentially know for a fact that these festivals are in anticipation of/promotion for a new album. If history is any indication, how could they NOT release at least one song beforehand?
American Idiot (song) was released August 31, I believe coinciding with their performance at Reading.
I don't think the guys will manage before September with all the mixing, artwork, production and stuff, but possibly a single or two will be ready for the festivals...
As I wrote in the thread for Rock am See, the festival's homepage http://www.rock-am-s.../show/green_day (in german) is presenting Green Day as follows:
To me this sounds like GD will play more than just one new single, but idk. But it seems very reliable since the festival for sure has talked to GD's (tour)manager about what they can expect from GD's show.
In the last 3 years, they've played here in Norway twice. A stadium and a concert hall. If they play the concert hall again, I'm gonna be really disappointed, cause the stadium show was 10 times better! Better sound, 5 times as many people, you could breathe..
Can't wait for the tour dates! This time I have to learn all the lyrics before the show.. :3
I'm aware of what the real lyrics are, but now, whenever I sing that line, I sing "I'm having sex with Mike"! I can't get it out of my head, fucking Billie
In 21CB (the song), I always thought "My name is no one I'm the long lost son" was "My name is Noah I'm the long lost son." I just assumed Noah was another character in the Christian/Gloria storyline, and thought I was obviously right in thinking that because it's an appropriately biblical name for the whole attack on religion. And I maintain that if they want to make this into another play, they could change it to Noah and go from there
I still hear Noah when I listen to it, especially live when BJ kinda slurs his words
When I first heard Jesus of Suburbia, I was really convinced there was a section about cats. Something along the lines of, "I have a cat, if you don't. I have a cat, if you don't. I have a cat, if you don't cat. I like cats."
And I'm pretty sure I still don't sing any of the correct lyrics for American Idiot, haha.
In Homecoming when he says "I started fucking running as soon as my feet touched ground" I always thought he said something about pizza. I can't remember exactly what I thought it was, but whenever I'd listen to that part I'd always think it never made sense.
