  1. Mike and Billie’s friendship is everything to me. The way they’ve been there for each other inseparable since they were ten, it’s a big part of the magic behind the band. When Tre came along he immediately clicked and was a third best friend. There’s just a different feel with a band of lifelong best friends versus a band of musicians with members that come and go that don’t particularly like each other. You see it in interviews, performances, their social media. It’s in their body language. Their friendship forms the basis of everything and makes the music more meaningful and deepens the love I feel for this band.

  2. One of the many things that I liked about the Rev Rad tour was seeing GD laughing and joking at the end of Good Riddance. Here's some examples: This one where Mike and Tre carry Billie off stage 🤣 Mike touching Billies hair, and the boys laughing 😍 The one where Mike and Tre had their masks on 🤣

  3. I particularly love these Billie and Mike pictures. It's so obvious how much they love each other and it's just super sweet! ❤️ And Mike's face in this one is so great!

  4. Agreed. I think friendship, especially pre-fame, going back to childhood, is one of the most important elements to keeping a band going. You look at a band like GD or Muse, where they've all been friends forever, and you know they're not going to break up (knocking on wood so I don't jinx that now). Whereas a band like Fleetwood Mac or the Eagles, you have breakups, members coming and going, etc. It's just not the same bond.

  5. Me too! And everyone has to use my password to get into one of the computers, so a whole office is typing it.

  6. With hindsight it's kind of weird that they didn't all come on stage at the end of shows before, like from AI onwards even though the rest of the show was so well choreographed the standard thing was for Mike and Tre to just wander off not to be seen again before the last song lol, and they even did reappear at the end occasionally (eg in BIAB) so it's not like they just hadn't had the idea yet, they chose not to do it. It fits perfectly for them to pop back and all end the show together like that, glad they started doing it at every show and having so much fun with it.

  8. Today I have been fangirling over this photo, we don't get to see his bare back very often. So smooth and hairless ❤️❤️❤️❤️ and I'm sure as soft as his hands, you girls are so lucky you've had chance to hold them 😍😍

  9. Why is it considered especially embarrassing to like Green Day? I've heard it from fans and non-fans, rock and pop fans, before and after the trilogy. No one ever explains why, though. Is it because they're effeminate and/or wear eyeliner? Cringey videos? Young fanbase? Associated with emo? Enlighten me

  11. I wonder if singing harmonies/back up to Billie all this time has shaped the way he sings. Their voices really complement each other perfectly and seamlessly.

  15. and around the mic stand it's funny because often when he holds stuff that are not music related he seems a bit awkward (all the while cute), holding a piece of paper or a glass of wine for instance, but yeah every time he holds the mic, his guitar or anything during a gig he just puts his beautiful hands in the sexiest way possible One of the first beautiful eye / hand pic I can think of is this one (if you zoom on his eye it's almost unreal ) I also had the luck to hold his hand briefly at the end of my first Longshot gig in Brooklyn, I was in second row and brought my hand forward as he was shaking hands in the front right before leaving the stage, and I was so glad that he took mine, but I didn't try to hold it too long since he had leaned over a bit to reach me and I didn't want to bother him. I was just a quick clamping and then I let go. But my friend I went with, who was in second row as well next to me, was hardier than me, like you she didn't let go of his hand immediately, while giving him our flag we had brought, to make him understand that she wanted him to take it, and he did. I was completely awed by how she did it, one of my best visual memories from that night is seeing her holding Billie's hand, Billie staying still for a few seconds, until he moved away while taking the flag with him For my part, I don't fangirl on Mike individually, but I love him, and I fangirl on seeing Billie and Mike together a lot. Mike matters so much to GD and to Billie. Like @R_Z-Log says, he's awesome to watch at a gig, The only time I was first row at a GD gig I was on Mike's side and, even though I didn't see Billie a lot in front of me, seeing Mike all the time was anything but boring. Even my mom who loves Billie "especially for his music" as she says to me, while having never talked to me directly about the other GD members, was disappointed when I showed her Longshot gigs, because "where are Mike and Tre?" even though she is not a fangirl, she had a typical slightly possessive fan reaction about seeing other guys next to Billie during a gig, which proved even she had felt attached to Mike and Tre. Her reaction amused me a bit (I also think Mike is more her type than Billie!) I found this angry face competition and the quality of the pic is not tremendous but look at the way Mike looks at Billie, it's so endearing And since it's Jason Freese's birthday, here are pics of him with Billie when he comes up front for KFAD

  16. Yes! I loved that too. These were some of my favorites. Billie feeling up Mike and Tre. Billie and Mike high fiving. Billie and Tre's kiss. And Billie and Mike's kiss.

  20. I actually just googled "why is it embarrassing to like Green Day" and this came up ... https://www.laweekly.com/music/unpopular-opinion-leave-blink-182-alone-and-stop-listening-to-green-day-5924702 and of course the usual Sex Pistols hate: https://www.nme.com/news/music/sex-pistols-icon-johnny-rotten-hits-out-at-turgid-green-day-2386044 This one seems to say "protest" songs can either be seen as positive or embarrassing: https://www.popbuzz.com/music/artists/green-day/features/green-day-trump-protest-songs/ I don't think this really answers the question. I know what you mean it's like this sneaky "oh that's embarrassing" look

  22. Holy cow! Is that Eddie Money? Aww man, the years have not been kind. 😮 Was quite fond of him back in the day. I kind of like Tre's unnatural hair colors.

  23. Had a dream last night. There was a lot more going on in this dream, but there was one part that involved GD. I went into a room and sat down on a bed knees first to look at something that was on the other side. Then I got up and started to walk away when I noticed that my right pant leg was bloody. I looked at it closer and found out that there was a loose boxspring or something that had gone through my right knee. I didn’t feel any pain at all, but it looked pretty severe so I went to get help. I limped, back to where there were a bunch of people and noticed that Mike was performing and stopped right before him and some other people. He continued to play when he saw me, but then did a double take and walked over to me. He placed his hand above my knee where the injury was and then passed it over the wound. After he did that, it was gone. Apparently Mike has healing powers. Lol!

  24. I think from the way they talk about Billie in interviews it’s clear they’re pretty in awe of him still ❤️

  25. There are different time periods where I think Mike or Tre are hot/cute, just not all the time like Billie. But they definitely have their moments. They are all cute during the Dookie period, especially the When I Come Around Video. Mike looks great there and Tre was so cute in the early nineties. Then also in the AI period all three of them were smokin hot.

  26. You know, you’re right!! When they played the small venues before the revrad tour I saw them at 9:30 Club in DC. Seeing them so close for the first time ever I definitely fangirled hard over Mike! I get so caught up with Billie, for so many reasons other than his physical appearance, I never really paid much attention to the other guys. But honestly Mike was way hotter on stage that night!

  30. SO SOFT! He grabbed my hand from the stage after the Longshot show in DC and I held on tight for as long as I could. When I close my eyes I can still remember what it felt like. Strong but soft. For someone who’s done construction work, worked on cars and plays guitar you would expect them to feel tougher and more calloused but not at all. Baby soft hands. ✋🥰❤️

  31. So much Hand Porn in here rn. Seriously though, his hands really are incredibly beautiful. They're the perfect shape and size, and I kinda love the way you can sometimes see the veins under his skin, his fingers look so strong, and his hands just look so unbelievably soft. I remember one incredibly lucky fan got to hold his hands at that Hot Topic album signing back in 2016 and she said they were even softer than she expected. Oh, and his fingernails are so pretty! I love it when he paints them too... ... especially when he paints them in different colours.😍 And that time when he only painted one fingernail in blue.

  32. His hands are one of Billie's features that once I started really paying attention to, I always look for in a picture , as a main potential fangirling part of him. Here are zooms on his hands so we can see them better: Also, it may be silly but I love the way he often holds his guitar strap with his left hand, and you see his thumb curling out: I wonder if his thumb is like this due to guitar playing, the way he presses it on the guitar neck like in the first pic. Anyways it's cute!
