Lone Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Talk about the eighth track here. Lyrics Spoiler Young blood Young blood Young blood She’s my little young blood Young blood Young blood Young blood War strucken young blood She’s a loner Not a stoner Bleeding heart and soul of Miss Teresa Supernova Cherry cola She’s the cedar in the trees of Minnesota I’m a rough boy ‘Round the edges Getting drunk and falling into hedges She’s my weakness Fucking genius Swear to god that I’m not even superstitious Young blood Young blood Young blood She my little young blood Young blood Young blood Young blood War strucken young blood I want to hold you like a gun We’ll shoot the moon into the sun Alright Alright Are you stranded Like I’m stranded Do you want to watch the world fall to pieces Are you broken Like I’m broken Are you restless she said fuck you I’m from Oakland Young blood Young blood Young blood She my little young blood Young blood Young blood Young blood War strucken young blood Song page on GDA: http://www.greendayauthority.com/music/song/763/
W_FInkThePlatypusHunter Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 This is one of favorites off Revolution Radio. Kick ass from start to finish.
Chuckk Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 She´s a reebel... oh wait love this song !
Jacqattack95 Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 i am WEAK for songs about 80 and this is no exception. I adore this song, another one of my favorites
DirtyRottenBastard Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Not a single bad song on this album so far! So different from everything they've ever done and yet it's unmistakingly Green Day. 2 hours ago, Chuckk said: She´s a reebel... oh wait love this song ! First thing I thought haha
Lacky Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 If you don't love this song, you just don't have a heart Funny, easy and lovely!
alecandstuff Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 This song and "Too Dumb To Die" are the two off of this record that don't strike me as good or bad. It's short, simple, and not much else. Very clearly about Adrienne, so I guess it's got that going for it! This track was okay, definitely better stuff on the rest of the album though
Chin for a Day Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 This song should have been an instrumental. The lyrics are cringeworthy. Billie either writes brilliant love songs or atrocious ones. Lyrically, this is an atrocious one. Musically, it is fun and catchy

It was stuck in my head when I woke up this morning but have to agree the lyrics are cringey. Shame because it's such a catchy tune. Oh well, I like the rest!
Steven Seagull Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 I like it because it's such a Dookie song. The chorus is a bit repetetive, but "she said fuck you I’m from Oakland" makes the song so great and funny.
Chris Durso Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 For some strange reason this reminds me of 2000 light years away. I love it the song is kick ass from start to finish
Ross_19 Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Love the bridge and when Biloie says fuck you I'm from Oakland! Great first listen
DanPak Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Sounds like an old Fratellis song to me! I love it though, simple, fun and catchy Fuck you I'm from Oakland is a great line!
Chin for a Day Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 I'm making it official. This is the only song on the album I hate. The unbelievably cringeworthy lyrics cannot save the fun, catchy melody.
Digoco Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 It's okay I guess. The song is really catchy... and that's it. I found it generic.
disappearing_boy_39 Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 The lyrics are fun. I really like "She’s the cedar in the trees of Minnesota."
Hermione Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Oh I love this, probably the most fun song on the album and insanely catchy! She's a Rebel part 2 I think the line is "swear to god and I'm not even superstitious" rather than "that" as it says here, and it's the most amusing line of the album . "She's the cedar in the trees of Minnesota" is lovely too, and of course "fuck you I'm from Oakland" is excellent. On the first listen one of my faves.
Stewe Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 I want to share two lyrics's doubt: Punch drunken Young blood instead of war strunken Young blood. Shes's my witness instead of she's my weakness. That's what I hear, Im waiting to buy the CD and read the booklet
Harry Potter. Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I don't care what everyone says, this is the best song on the album.
ElmoGreenDay Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Really not keen on this.....yet it's a bit cheesy for my liking at the minute. Hoping it grows.
Thatsername Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 What a fun song! It's absolutely the right song after the heaviness of the very emotional (and great!) Still Breathing. It makes me sad everytime I listen. Youngblood made me happy again. "Fuck you I'm from Oakland". I love it
