Just saw this. Green Day will be covering 'Outsider' for the tribute album re-release.

I assume it will be their cover of Outsider that appears on Shenanigans.

Yeah it is that one. I have an original copy of the tribute album that they are re-releasing and it is the exact same.

Aww was hoping it'd be a new Ramones cover. Oh well still cool that their decent Outsider one will get another airing.

Oh yeah, I listen to this tribute album all the time.

Well, at least most of it; the Zombie, Manson, and Waits covers are god-awful, I don't even have them on my iTunes. I replaced them with better Ramones covers from Foo Fighters, Face To Face, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and one of the other ones that Metallica did.
