Hello board. Every now and then when I'm bored I go to the Warner/Chappell website. They have all this information in regards to who owns what, who wrote what, etc in regards to songs. For years I always found it amazing that Green Day has so many songs that have never been released but have been recorded. Here is a link http://www.warnerchappell.com/song-details/WW 001353181 00/25928a4e-9500-0274-e053-969e2a0a0145 to a song titled "Kill Whitey" I just discovered. Lets see what else we can find on this website in regards to green day and unreleased stuff. The site use to be more open to the public and had so much info on it. Now I believe you have to really search and dig and even request to see what is out there. Years ago I found this song information for a Green Day song titled "Heroin..."something and there was a part1,part2,part3,etc . Lets see what else we can find in regards to Green Day http://www.warnerchappell.com/

Those songs are also listed on their ASCAP site. I believe they've been there since the trilogy or before, I remember seeing unknown songs on there. I think the others were called Heroin Pop I & II, and maybe one or two more.

Reject All America and Sick are actually Reject and Sick of Me. You can find Private Hell, Supermarket, and Angel and the Jerk on youtube. Dark Side of Night is FBHT.

No Lil Wayne sampled Green Day so therefor GD gets a songwriter credit

I have no musical knowledge whatsoever so I'm just gonna go ahead and ask this dumbass question: what does "sampling" mean?

Sampling in a short way of explaining a artist can take a previous song and take some of the music or some of the lyrics and make another song from it of course legally you have to get the samples cleared and such Wayne took Basket Case I think and used some of the lyrics for his song Hot Revolver and so GD has songwriter credit cause of it

I think "Heroin Pop I" "Heroin Pop II" "Mutron Jam" could be B-Sides of Revolution Radio ? im just saying idk.

I doubt it. Like I said before, I'm pretty sure they were listed around the time the trilogy came out.

The site isn't entirely accurate too. They credit Tre instead of John on some of the 1039 songs for some reason.

I'd love to hear a studio recorded version of Devil's Kind. The chorus is really catchy and neat. Maybe on the Ordinary World soundtrack?

I know @WhiteTim has already answered, but if you want an example 'Brutal Love' has Sam Cooke credited as a songwriter.  Cooke died in the sixties, but got the credit because Brutal Love sampled this song I think.  Not hugely on topic, but I like how Billie can hear songs written by others and turn them into something that works for Green Day, I think that's cool.

kill whitey is slang in the activist world to say "kill white supremacy". basically.

(there's a lot more backstory to that, but i don't feel like getting into it this early.)

I believe Lil Wayne sampled Green Day music into his song so thats where that came from.    Fever Blister is probably Lady Cobra.   Those first three finds are really cool though.   I've been obsessed with Green Day for about 20 years now and I've never heard of those.   That's awesome.

Wasn't Reject All America the working title for Reject?

Yep. And Sick of Me was originally published as just "Sick", on the Hitchin' a Ride single.

There's an archived GDC thread from 2008 discussing Heroin Pop I & II, Mutron Jam and Kill Whitey. So the registration on them must be at least that old?

This Sam Cooke song is awesome :ga:

I got very confused seeing Private Hell listed because that's a song by The Jam and if they covered it it would be fucking amazing.

Also anyone think it sounds like Ruby Room?

Ruby Room, mixed with Supermodel Robots and Hitchin a Ride.
If you didn't tell me that GD had a hand in this, I'd still be thinking "damn this sounds recycled"
But don't get me wrong, I like it :D
