Steven Seagull Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 What do you think the next single will be? What do you expect? Since we already heard Ordinary World I think it could be a good choice. Also it's more radio friendly than Bang Bang. If not OW, then I am expecting a song with a catchy chorus.
Met Fan Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 It's a guessing game at this point and I'm for that, I'll say Rev Rad too.
Sixtrix Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 We haven't heard any of the other songs yet except for Ordinary World. But I don't see that one being released as a 2nd single. Maybe 3rd or not a single at all. But it's hard to say without knowing any of the other songs
JardyOfSuburbia Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 I hope they don't follow the trend of releasing four singles before the album is even out like most bands do nowadays. I hate when I get an album and already know four or five songs from it. Ride Bang Bang for another month and then drop a 2nd single somewhere in the middle of September. I'll go with Revolution Radio as the next single.
Alan86 Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Revolution radio. Probably with a release date the week before the album release
DeJennsitized Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Since we're basing it on name alone (!) I'd say RevRad or Say Goodbye (it was on that set list thing)

Christian's Inferno! Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Well the title track for 21CB was released as the 4th single I hope there's 5 singles for this album which there probably will be

Platypus2000 Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Probably Ordinary World, got a good feeling about Youngblood for some reason though, just one of those names.
Todd Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Ordinary World makes my top 10 list for worst Green Day songs ever, from what we've heard so far So I really hope that's not a single

Justin1 Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 My guess would be Revolution Radio. If not, then whatever solid rock ballad they have on there, if they have one. I could see Ordinary World being a single if they added a bit more to it. Like, more instrumentation and vocals. I'd like to here that song with some strings for sure!

madafaka Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Ordinary World seems like a sweet and good song, but to be honest, nothing about it screams "hit" and I have much greater expectations from the album overall. So with nothing much to go on, I'll place my bet on Revolution Radio, as it must surely have some potential as the title track

I think a lot could be brought to it in the studio. Not sure how anyone can judge which song we've never heard is going to be picked
LostCanadianGoose Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Ordinary World is incredibly radio friendly. I would be fine with that being the next single.

It was also the last song from a long night with no other instruments. I think it has huge potential because of the strong melody, and simple but timeless lyrics. I have a feeling when we hear the studio version there will be a lot of people saying 'sooo much better than the live version we heard' lol

Good Riddance and The Forgotten were singles too. And they were awesome. I'm all for a slow song. Bang Bang is ok but it's not really catchy like Oh Love was.

Felt too bland to be featured on the album, and I'm saying that as a song in and of itself. I didn't find it particularly memorable. I mean at the very least it's not The Forgotten or See The Light bad, so it'll likely be a better closer than either of those two, but I don't see it reaching the levels of a Whastername, Macy's Day Parade or FOD, unless, like I said, it's undergone a pretty massive overhaul.
