Maybe they don't understand everything and need subtitles so that they know what is being said in English.

I guess the closest you'd get is a closed caption but since it was released only on Vimeo there's no such a thing... I myself started working for portuguese subtitules for HLAHG once and looked for english subtitles to ease the job but couldn't find anything

That's exactly why I've joined the forum. I was hoping I could find any information here, but no luck so far.

I'm a non-native speaker still trying to learn the language properly. Therefore I'm looking for English subtitles for HLAHG as well, as it's hard to understand every word, or knowing which word to check in dictionary.

 

I'm joining the request. In case anyone finds subtitles or transcript, please do tell.

I think so too. Translators sure are supposed to get one but I'm not sure if those are available for public. We've never worked with official transcriptions in my translation class. (If I remember correctly.)

I've been missing that too actually. There are no subtitles on my DVD either I understand most things, but sometimes it's hard to make out what they say.

For the record, the iTunes release of HLAHG has English closed captioning.

There was closed captioning for the TV premier on AXS TV. I have it recorded to my DVR and it has full CC enabled because I accidentally enabled it on the remote when checking that it was recorded properly

I'm not sure if this is allowed. Please, delete the post if it isn't.

 

This .srt file fits the iTunes version. It might demand some extra editing for different versions. 

Music note symbols are not displaying correctly. I didn't feel like fixing those, as extraction itself took quite a lot of time and nerves.  Better than nothing, right?
