Also keep in mind that the only word that iTunes counts as explicit now is "fuck". (At least I'm pretty sure?)

There could still be a few swear words sprinkled in there.

That's very much true. Their Lookout records are almost completely bereft of swearing. Only the Trilogy (in my opinion) had excessive swearing in some songs (particularly on Dos!).

Uno had more swearing than Dos.     Here's a breakdown of all the swearing in Green Day's music.

•1039 – fx2, dx3 (5)

•Kerplunk – dx2, f, s, (4)

•Dookie – sx11, bs, fx6, dx2, hx2 (22)

•Insomniac – d, fx8, hx2, sx5, ax3 (19)

•Nimrod – px3, fx18, s6, b2, h5, d2, c, a, t, sc, (40)

•Warning – h2, p, f2 (5)

•Shenanigans d3, f2, s1, p1, a1 (8)

•American idiot – f12, h2, b2, d, s, (18)

•21st Century Breakdown – h3, ba, f7, gd2, n, s (15)

•Uno – F34, D, S4, p, bas2, b, t, h3,  (47) (most swear words to date)

•Dos – F12, H2, S1, C1?, (15)

•Tre – F5, B2, (7)

How will Revolution Radio fit into this list?   Who knows....

Thanks for that breakdown. I really thought that Dos! contained more profanity, probably due to Fuck Time. Kill the DJ is also rather profanity-laden. Back to topic, I think Revolution Radio will be more in line with AI and 21CB, but only time will tell.

There are song lengths on wikipedia again.   and now it's showing the last song (Ordinary World) being 7:00 Minutes.  If it's accurate, that could mean a bonus track.   I doubt Ordinary World would be that long.

I think those are fake. No store mentions the track lengths. Also, unless they significantly transform Ordinary World, there's no way a ballad of 2:25 (live) will be that long. It will be more in line with See the Light.

Wikipedia shows F.O.D.'s length as 5:46 instead of 2:50 because of the hidden track. So a hidden track could be possible if those lengths are real.

The bridge is indeed very similar, though the Bang Bang bridge is more exotic.

Will there be a new Static Noise Podcast soon? Cause there's a lot to talk about now with Revolution Radio and Bang Bang

New photo.

Is that the boom box from the art work?   NICE!  Also, does Mike have some newer tattoos?

I don't think so.

If they're making a DVD/Blu-Ray from a concert the title should be: "Private Movie"

I'm sure I read somewhere a few days ago that one was being planned.  I could well be completely making that up though.

Yeah, it's really not a good cover at all. Like I said before, it looks like the cover to a cheesey overproduced metal album. It's awful.

So, am I the only one who doesn't think that it looks like a metal album cover at all? What faux-edgy metal band puts a radio on the cover of their record?

Looks like a Papa Roach cover lol

Somewhere Now Tour would be a good name for the tour better than Revolution Radio Tour

Any chance in hell of getting some Mike or Tre lead vocals?  Tre hasn't got to drop a verse in 12 years, and Mike hasn't had a whole verse in 7!   I get it, Billie Joe is the lead singer, but it couldn't hurt to let them sing lead on either a verse or a chorus of ONE song.    American Eulogy is a great track.   Homecoming is an EPIC track.

No chance. Billie sounds too good now. Matika sounds the best backing up Billie anyway.

also billie swears quite a lot live... then again, everyone does.

Bruce Dickinson is way worse than he is in that respect.

Billie officially coming out as a warlock is really cool. I've never been a fan of the blue lips myself, but it does come with some kickass magic tricks that does well on the big stage

Does anyone believe there is a beef going on again with Green Day and Rob Cavallo.  It may be nothing but the last time that they didn't work with him was after AI and apparently the rumor is it has something to do with the tracks for ciggarettes and valentines.  Regardless that is speculation but for him not to be a part of this just seems odd.

I haven't heard this rumor curious to where you heard about it.  I personally think they just decided to work with themselves because of the new studio they kind of wanted to try out producing themselves again.  Say what you want about Warning, but the production was fantastic.  Judging by Bang Bang's production, it's more a step toward AI/21CB sound than trilogy which is probably a good thing because production seems to be a lot of peoples problem with it

I'm not saying there's a direct relation, but it has that sort of lack of self-awareness/self-seriousness vibe. It's incredibly bland and cheap looking.

Same. Doesn't even review the song. Just talks about what BJ said in RS interview and complains how the cover is "shitty" for the entire thing

Oh I do agree than can produce by themselves.  However the last time around they didn't use rob was because there was a problem and that's why they went with butch vig besides the fact that they produced nevermind and siamese dream.
