Oh gosh, for a moment I heard a form of criticism for Trilogy from you. What in the heck was I thinking?

Yeah wtf were you thinking?! :o I would never betray trilogy.

all of Green Day's album are Trilogies.

1039 / Kerplunk / Dookie

Insomniac / Nimrod / Warning

Idiot / Breakdown / RevRad

Uno / Dos / Tre

Those first two might not be right because the latest album proved that the GD III's don't have to be sequential.

So everybody feel free to make your own Trilogies from the 12 albums.   There is a pattern in there somewhere.

I'm convinced that they all form a gigantic concept that none of us have realized yet.

Let's put this puzzle together guys.

Youngblood is kinda ok but it can't compare to the greatness of Fell For You. Probably my favorite song from ¡UNO!

I've come a long way since first thoughts on the trilogy 2 years ago; I still feel the artistic merit isnt quite there to justify three albums and essentially its three albums of the very same style, but more tracks are resonating than they did initially.

Not quite Sandinista but an admirable attempt at a sprawling, epic project. My own playlist of the best from the three is a cracking album in itself.

Albums will forever will be underrated.

Warning was underrated when it was released too. And now most people have it in top 3 all time. Trilogy was a masterpiece, people who see that have a good taste in music.

I really like Fell For You. Like 2000 Light Years Away it's a sweet song about wishing he could be with someone with a chorus that has implied masturbation references :P, makes me think of it as kind of a sequel to it only now he's just away in a hotel on tour instead of living far away. Youngblood is really cool as well though.

I hate to be off topic since thread for all that, but quick response, Youngblood is fun and just an overlooked track because it has a pop feel to it. Cool to see you like it too! :D

Yeah it's probably the most fun song on the album after Bouncing Off the Wall. Would've fit on the trilogy!

There's so many great love songs on these albums. See You Tonight is awesome and Brutal Love is my top 10 Green Day song ever. The best vocal performance we got from from Billie (if I ignore take back :P )

I watched Cuatro last night and I was taken back by my realization of how much I love a lot of these songs.

Holy shit you fucking crazy lunatics, It was a thought.... I love my triple album the way it is, I was thinking of how different it's commercial success might've been (also if Warner wasn't ignoring it as well)

Who knows, but at this point I wouldn't worry about it. As long as you enjoy it :)

Damn straight, if GD's mainstream success dumped rather than skyrocketed after Warning I'd still listen lmao

I'm here to officially update my opinion on the trilogy. It's now not the worst thing Green Day have ever done. Congratulations guys, it's been replaced by Revolution Radio and in fact Revolution Radio is so bad I'm finding a new appreciation for Dos (previously my least favourite album ever). I'd rather be stuck in an elevator with Dos on repeat than be forced to listen to Revolution Radio all the way through while sunbathing on a beach

I went through something similar the other day when I was putting together a playlist of songs off every album. I went through and listened to everything, and to my surprise, there are a lot of trilogy songs on my playlist

I bet a lot enjoy it, but it's just been cool to say it's the worst thing ever. :P I know for sure I put most of the songs from the 3 onto my Green Day best songs playlist
