1039 Smoothed Out Nimrods Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 All of Green Days songs are great but the fast ones are my favorites. My favorite fast ones include "In The End," "Jaded," "Take Back," "Bab's Uvula Who," "Who Wrote Holden Caulfield," "Platypus," and "Android." What are your favorite badass fast songs?
WhiteTim Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 I've never pictured Green Day as a head banging band...
Sarcasm Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Everything Slipknot, can't disagree with the wisdom of the Tim on this one.

Yeah I agree with you. I fixed it because my language wasn't clear. I meant like fast songs that are great by the band. Sorry for the misconception. Green day for life

I think Bab's Uvula Who is my favourite, the speed of it along with the lyrics express the feeling of being wound up so well. And Take Back because it's such a Green Day attempt at a hardcore sounding song, Billie's snotty little version of growling and the nasty lyrics set to that pace are just right, I like that it's done their way.
Brooklyn Baby Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Babs Uvula Who is the best Green Day song. Discuss.

Chin for a Day Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 My vote is for Scattered. It is the first song I learned to play and it also has very meaningful lyrics.
unextraordinarygirl Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 Jaded, Babs Uvula Who, and In the End are my favorite songs too. They really get me going and fired up!
BilIie Joe Armstrong Posted May 6, 2016 Posted May 6, 2016 Bab's Uvula Who is wonderful. Angsty, angry and energetic. What's not to like.

I wouldn't say it's overly political. To be honest, It hasn't occurred to me myself. It kind of makes sense, though. Would you mind explaining it better?

I wouldn't call stuck with me political. I always thought it was more about the kind of a crowd b crowd kind of bullshit. Thus the title
