desertrose Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Airstream Makeover For Greenday's Billie Joe Armstrong Green Day front man and rock'n'roll hall of famer, Billie Joe Armstrong, and his wife, Adrienne, own an old airstream trailer and as a special surprise to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary, Adrienne has asked the Junk Gypsies to renovate the trailer and make it into a 'surf shack on wheels' that Billie can take out surfing with his buddies. Amie and Jolie hit the road for inspiration and to find a surfboard for the airstream. They build a table out of a surfboard and turn the airstream into a 'Zen, rock'n'roll surf shack' for Billie Joe. To put a positive spin on that, if it was for their 20th Anniversary, it was probably filmed a year ago.

I thought that too, but then I tried to look at it from a less cynical perspective. Honestly, given everything the band has been through recently, I have no problem with him wanting to chill and surf and get his groove back. I think it's a good thing. Having said that, I probably won't watch it.

Also, yeah, maybe I'll be arsed to watch the reveal if someone puts it on YouTube but not otherwise.
