Guest Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Yeah, people clicking and talking about someone known bashing their favorite band. Right, why would anyone be interested in that. It's the reason people talk about Johnny Rotten every time he bashes the band. It's interesting or funny or something. It also promotes lazy sensationalist journalism, with emphasis on buzzwords and a few "controversial" quotes (usually misquotes). News sites don't give a fuck about content anymore. Johnny Rotten jokes got old in the 90's anyway.
Spike Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Who cares if a website gets money because people are calling an old man a cunt for not liking a band of whom he's not part of the target market?
green day is Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Who cares if a website gets money because people are calling an old man a cunt for not liking a band of whom he's not part of the target market? Yeah, who actually wants to be informed by journalists? More has-beens saying dumb things!
Fuzz Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Yeah, who actually wants to be informed by journalists? More has-beens saying dumb things! As if this type of stuff is taking away from proper journalism. It's out there if you want it. No one is forcing people to click through and read anything they consider garbage.
green day is Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 As if this type of stuff is taking away from proper journalism. The more of this you support, the more it will be produced and the less you'll see of actual news.
Spike Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 The more of this you support, the more it will be produced and the less you'll see of actual news. Well that's nice and simplistic.
green day is Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Well that's nice and simplistic. Capitalism really isn't much more than "keep doing what makes you money".
Fuzz Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Capitalism really isn't much more than "keep doing what makes you money". That still doesn't mean there aren't places out there doing proper journalism.
Spike Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Capitalism really isn't much more than "keep doing what makes you money". What Fuzz said. I get all my news from BestGore.
Florence Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Who exactly is he? Jealousy's a bitch fuck you, Ian McCunt
PigSniffingGlue Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 also had to google him, and than I saw this: best known as a member of the English Rock bands Small Faces and Faces lol like, Small Faces wasn't a hit, so then he tried to make it shorter and more catchy?
WhiteTim Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I seriously doubt he got paid to do the interviews Interviews aren't really paid for...
Spike Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Who exactly is he? Jealousy's a bitch fuck you, Ian McCunt He was in The Small Faces and The Faces. also had to google him, and than I saw this: lol like, Small Faces wasn't a hit, so then he tried to make it shorter and more catchy? They changed their name from The Small Faces after Steve Marriott left and Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart joined. They're effectively a different band altogether.

BeachBum Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Had no idea who he was... and quite frankly I already forget. Regardless that was a terrible opinion to vocalize, but he's not the first to say shit like that about another artist and I doubt he will be the last.
Overjoyyed Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I really dislike that it's ok to casually wish a person or group of people are dead. It should never be (yes I know Billie did it to Steve Jobs- it was super wrong too). I never even heard of this guy. I wouldn't care less if a random guy doesn't like green day but to say he wishes they were dead is a whole different story and does grind my gears.

Like that time Billie compared Psy to herpes or said he wished Steve Jobs was dead?
BeachBum Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Like that time Billie compared Psy to herpes or said he wished Steve Jobs was dead? Yup.
UNICORN VOMIT Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Like that time Billie compared Psy to herpes or said he wished Steve Jobs was dead? The psy comment was spot on
Jaded in Chicago Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 The Faces? Never even heard of them, so they can't have been very good.
