Doesn't sound nasal to me. But it isn't about whether someone sings technically perfectly, it's about whether it sounds nice. I don't think Ronnie Radke's singing voice sounds nice, that's all. I always heard I wore Cologne too but I really don't think there's a way to say I walk alone that doesn't sound like that. To use that as a criticism is pretty silly, especially when you have the whole of Insomniac to go at if you want to complain about his diction. I also reviewed all the studio albums a few months back if anyone is interested. That's how I felt. YouTube had many of them posted. I found most to be pretty crappy. Laetitia Posted August 22, 2014 Share Posted August 22, 2014 Well, honestly, I thought the Kerrang! tribute album was utterly dreadful. Actually, most of it sounded a bit bland to me, possibly because I was listening to it at 1:00 in the morning. The only five covers I actually have real opinions on are American Idiot, Extraordinary Girl, WMUWSE, Welcome to Paradise, and Basket Case. Sadly, American Idiot was one of the best covers on the album IMO. And I hate 5SOS (for petty reasons only known to my best friend, who incidentally is a 5SOS fanatic, and me). I really loathe screamo (I'm using this as a blanket term because, honestly, I'm not too educated on this topic) and metal and pretty much any music genre ending in the suffix "-core". So after suffering through the entire album once, I found that I enjoyed the 5SOS cover much more after witnessing three minutes of NO SCREAMING. Admittedly, though, it was electronic-y and pop-y and sounded pretty artificial. I also detest that fact that they censored out the word "faggot." Then there was Extraordinary Girl. I'm pretty familiar with MCR, as I'm a casual fan of theirs, and I know what Frank Iero's voice sounds like. That being said, I could barely extinguish it beneath all the effects in the mess that is the Extraordinary Girl cover (aka, "Frank Iero Rapes the Reverb Button"). On the other hand, the Wake Me Up When September Ends cover started promisingly. Then came the screaming, which completely ruined the chorus and demolished the melancholy atmosphere.
