You're not the only one. The candles are funny but I couldn't care less about the album

tbh I would prefer a nice t-shirt:)

Am I the only one interested in the candles & am I the only one who has absolutely no interest in purchasing this album...

Yeah, outside of the new song I couldn't care less. The new OW doesn't really interest me either although I'll give it a listen. Hopefully I'll be pleasantly surprised with that.

But I don't really get why anyone cares. I can literally just make a playlist on YouTube or Spotify with all these songs already. I mean, it'll be good for some casual "fans" that have only heard a few of their well known songs from AI

Really? I love Insomniac but I’d rather have GD’s diverse catalog over twelve albums of angry punk.  I love Rancid too but every album sounds the same. They’re not a hall of fame band that will be remembered because they’ve never evolved.

Haha, my comment was in jest. I agree 100% about the diversity, just having some Insomniac sound withdrawal. Maybe one or two more albums :P

Well now you are quite the Debbie freakin' downer today. I love all my Rev Rad T-shirts!

I would get bleach on my Insomniac T-shirt, except wait! I don't own one of course.

I am interested in the album simply because I own everything else they have done and it completes the set. Plus the cover is one of the best covers they have ever done.

I’m a bit nervous that Crush Management will be another’s nail in Green Day’s punk coffin.

How many nails would that make that exactly? 😉 You could argue their first nails were their melodies, love songs and harmonies.

How about a Green Day urn?  If KISS can do caskets, Green Day can do urns.

And yeah, I just want the Billie candle and t-shirt.  I'll just buy the two new songs on Itunes.  Can't even remember the last time I bought a hard copy of an album.

Yeah the KISS thing was where I was coming from.  GD should totally do an urn but Im actually having my ashes shot out of fireworks:D

Just realised I quite often talk about my death in this thread:ga:

I think the only time they ever sounded half way decent was around the turn of the millennium, but even there it’s slightly sloppy at best...

I saw green day once in 2001 then multiple times during AI and 21st and I think the 21st your was their best shows ever. They should really bring back acoustic encores at one of the shows I was at Billie played the judges daughter and I was also at the show where they played cigarettes and valentines which was really cool

I want 21CB style setlists to return. Imo they were more balanced and interesting and they regularly changed it up at least a tiny bit.
