It's one of the songs I automatically want to sing along, even though it isn't one of my favorites. The "Know Your Enemy" thing sends back to Restless Heart Syndrome which is in my top 5 Green Day songs, where Billie sings "I am my own worst enemy, you are your own worst enemy". The song hasn't been played live a lot, but I remember having heard Billie mention it more than once in interviews from the 21st CB era, and mentioning that connection between the two songs. Somehow it made me enjoy KYE more than before. Here I think of an unpopular opinion of mine: I like the least watching live videos of the songs where Billie invites fans on stage (Know Your Enemy, Longview, and Knowledge), more because I want to hear Billie's voice exclusively than because of pure jealousy. But most of the time, when I actually see such videos, I don't get bored. Some few times I really feel a lot of sympathy for the fan invited. It just takes me some effort before I start to watch. My favorite live video of KYE I can think of is: Same here regarding the connection to Restless Heart Syndrome. That song is in my top 5 as well and when I noticed the connection and heard Billie talk (I think) about how the "enemy" isn't just other people/politicians, etc. it can also be yourself, that made me like KYE way more. I strongly disliked KYE when it first came out but I really enjoy it now. I also agree with you on not enjoying live videos where fans are invited up. More so for me because it wastes time (especially with Knowledge). I want the song to just keep moving! And yes I'd rather hear Billie's voice too, but it is pretty cool when a fan nails it. That video is so sweet. That's probably the most intense experience that kid has ever had in his life. He looks pretty overwhelmed but good for him for challenging himself and going for the dive anyway! 2 1 Quote

Montclare Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 I love X-Mas Time of Year. That song and Ordinary World are the two songs where I automatically smile when they start playing. 1 Quote

Actually, last Friday, my lecturer at college was playing Christmas songs during my class (it's never too early for Christmas songs). She was taking requests, and everyone was asking for the classics (such as Band-Aid, Fairytale of New York and Last Christmas etc). I requested Xmas Time of the Year, but she refused to play it because nobody knew what it was. Quote

I love Loss Of Control There isn't one single song on Uno I dislike. Loss Of Control would be my #5, Kill The DJ being my least favorite (I still really enjoy it) and Stay The Night my #1 on Uno and my 3rd favorite Green Day song. Also, I don't know if this is another unpopular opinion but Let Yourself Go (Uno version) is my 2nd least favorite on the album, I much prefer the Demolicious version of it (which is not the case for all the Demolicious songs). 2 hours ago, G-L-O-R-I-A said: My fave Christmas song. Christian's Inferno! Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 I think Kill the DJ has become my favourite Uno song 3 hours ago, Kuromignonne said: I don't know it either, gonna listen to it So what do you think of it? 1 Quote
Pashalasscqua Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 (edited) I used to really like Kill the DJ when unreleased terrible quality versions of it existed. Nowadays I kinda dislike it, but it's just so funky I have to involuntarily dance to it. Edited October 2, 2017 by Pashalasscqua Quote

I love it, and if it weren't for the voice, I would have recognized Billie for the lyrics. I don't find it cheesy, it's full of rightness and somehow the same things he says during concerts rants, only Christmas version. It has a very relatable Christmas atmosphere, whereas much depth unlike other Christmas songs. And musically, it's catchy. Definitely becomes my Christmas song 1 Quote

RedundantIdiot Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 I like 99 Revolutions and I like to watch footage of it when it was the opening song during the 99 Revolutions tour. However, I think Brutal Love and X-Kid are the best songs from Tre 2 Quote

It's such a fun song. Whenever I hear it, it just puts a smile on my face. And I don't care if people think the lyrics are bad cause I find them quite amusing. 7 minutes ago, RedundantIdiot said: However, I think Brutal Love and X-Kid are the best songs from Tre Agreed. X-Kid was the right choice for a single imo, and Brutal Love was just perfect, especially when they played it live. I wish they'd play it again sometime. On the subject of Tre, I really really like Walk Away. It's not the kind of song I would usually like, but for some reason, it was one of the first Trilogy songs to grab my attention. It seems so underrated and nobody ever seems to talk about it. 6 Quote

solongfromthestars Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 Kill the DJ and Troublemaker are catchy and great. Loss of Control isn't my favourite Trilogy song but I still like it. This live version of Kill the DJ is fabulous 4 Quote
