Granted, it doesn't make an awful lot of sense, but its sound isn't too bad. Nightlife just isn't my thing at all, only narrowly beating Take Back for the worst Green Day song ever.

No offense but I really hate how you produce or mix or whatever vocals. It has a tin can feel to it and feels very robotic.

Nightlife is bad, but it does get some marks. It's got a good bass line. The rap is alright. The music/instrumentation is alright. It also shows that Green Day can try their hand at pretty much any genre and do it fairly well. I just don't particularly like rap/garage music.

Does the 2nd video here earn me the bass back? Sassafras Roots is awesome, massively underrated. Homecoming is obviously epic but I only listen to the HDTracks version now because the radio noise at the start of Nobody Likes You just takes the whole song to the next level. Love it.
