They're actually really comfortable. But hella expensive. Also very good for attending gigs, as it gives you a few additional inches to see better.  The black and white ones aren't the prettiest, but the all black ones (BJ wore those in BOBD and Holiday videos) look so badass. That's the pair I own.

Billie looks so good in stripes. It works for him and not everyone can wear them. That picture above, wow nice mullet Billie! His hair is so thick and lush, I'm jealous.

Stripes, especially those grey and black pants, make him look taller. I wish the striped T-shirt from the trilogy era wouldn't have got ripped. It was the best thing ever. (And it gave him shoulders.)

You are funny my dear friend.  Nothing makes him look taller.  Actually, he pretty much does the opposite of what he should do to make himself look taller.   The way he wears his pants makes him look like he is a torso with feet.  If your legs look longer, you look taller.  Also a monochrome palate will make you look taller 

However, the stripes are hot.

I liked the ripped shirt, he should continue to wear it ripped
