His eyelining skills are declining—he keeps going too high above his eyelashes on top and it makes him look weird. 

The eyeliner is sexy and all, but I much prefer him without it. I think it's time to retire it, but I imagine he doesn't agree since he's still wearing it, lol.

I don't know if that is the reason, but I wouldn't doubt it is part of it.  I like them, they are pretty prestigious shoes.  Here is a write up on them:
