Jesus christ 😭 the first time i had ever seen green day was playing in my area was in september (or earlier?) 2024 when i was still playing team fortress 2 all day and didn't give a shit about anything other than system of a down... and i dont even remember that!!! I was in comic con twice that year (canberra and sydney) and there were posters around the places advertising green days performance. But i just never noticed. Like holy shit. But definitely next time

I once tried making a green day fanpage (website) back in may. I'm decent at making websites so you'd think it looked alright but i got (bored and) lazy so i put no effort into it shortly after and it was really just 3 sections and one page and it only said smoothed out slappy hours after 10 minutes of coding. Like, literally

I wasn't even bothered to pick better borders or better colors or a better font. It's just green and grey and smoothed out slappy hours

Also i never put it out there so it kinda just sits on my computer like that, never went back to fix it or anything...

As someone who went to school for web development I will always encourage people to do it. You should get back to it!  Did you have any plans for what you wanted on there?

Yes, i definitely should! I've been thinking of putting something on it since mid-january this year. I don't have any plans though lmao. I'll get back to it anyway. 

Maybe the entire site should just be smoothed out slappy hours. Who knows

Can you imagine the work of these Billie-led bands as Green Day albums?   How would they have been received? 

Pinhead Gunpowder / Boo / Tubbies / Billie and Norah / Billie Joe Armstrong / Longshot.  

 I'm definitely not leaving out any projects from 2003 and 2020 because Billie was not involved in any side-projects during those years for year.   Definitely not.        Tonight, I'm cranking UNT and it feels good to hear Billie on songs that I haven't overplayed into eternity.    Mumbles really freaks me out.  It very specifically describes someone I know with those very specific things.    Maybe all of us know someone that Mumbles describes, but it seems oddly, super duper specific to this person and I.  The only difference is that the very last line "you spelled my name wrong on the note" would be "mumbles said I spelled her dogs name wrong on the note".

Love is for Losers kinda feels like Rev Rad part 2 in some ways (besides both being tied into Ordinary World) + Fell For You basically is a Longshot song now

the others are a bit more tricky since most of them were just one offs + Pinhead is mostly unrelated to Green Day outside of Billie (obviously), Jason, Aaron (to an extent) and also GSB starting life as a Pinhead song

....as for any projects in 2003, and or 2020 (also maybe 2008 as well) i would have no idea as i dont think much happened in either of those 2 years
