People have been complaining that Billie only refers to Palestine in Jesus of Suburbia in countries where it won't go down badly, but I was just listening to the version from Lyon and he sang 'from Ukraine to Gaza.' Didn't even notice it in person so others probably didn't either, but yeah, I'm glad he actually did that in France.

We've talked alot about the songs that reach a billion streams or are close to it.   But think about the albums that contain those songs - American Idiot has three of these songs.   Dookie, Insomniac and Nimrod all have one song around a billion.    And before we discuss the rest, yes - they are massively successful.  Just nowhere near BILLIONS.      Minority is near 100 Million.     21 Guns is 700 Million.     Oh Love 60 Million.    Stray Heart 50 Million.   The Forgotten 20 Million.    Still Breathing 125 Million.  Father of All and Dilemma both around 40 Million.

I did not see this coming. I dislike that song so much that when I came back to Green Day land and revisited the Trilogy, I had absolutely forgotten that song existed. The only song out of their whole discography for which that happened (so the name might be quite fitting 😅)
